Managed to scrape 6th place on the last day of the season after a 14 game unbeaten run!Lost in the play off semi finals to Wolves though - but im optimistic for next season, were going to win the league! You not been at work then?

Geo V Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Not long in and am trying to get an hour or twos worth in. Update on the Premier league, its fookin tough! Ive found it easier to get Continental standard physios and coaches but cant get in a good AM. Burrows is crap. He has said that any player I have bid for to be quality and his HT team talks are so shite it makes us play worse in the second half! Ive used him twice and he is clueless! What I do like about the game so far is the better players are actually good. I paid £10m for Castillo and he has scored 5 in 7. The likes of MF who did well last season isn't prem standard and is about to get dropped after failing to score in the first 8 games! Fulops been dropped as he hasn't settled into the prem so sentiment has gone out of the window Time to play some games....
Darkzzz_ Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I decided to start a fresh, took the swansea job, went really in depth with my training, created a different training schedule, it has really paid off. 15 games in sitting 2nd... i have jason scotland, nicky maynard and steve marlet ( bargain) up front.... I have added a few faces, got kevin phillips in and this excellent young spanish striker called fernandez... quality 17 year old.... If you want a excellent strong DM go for Negomashe from zimbabwe, he wins things all day.... Come on the swans... in the championship in my first season i hope..... p.s- there is one thing that bugs me on the game, anyone else notice that there is always controvesy after every game...!!

I already had a version on the download when you gave me that link, mate.. but yeah I have a cracked version. Software + separate crack + daemon tools 4.09, works a charm. Link available for anyone who'd like it. Despite going unbeaten to Christmas in the demo, I haven't won yet with Leicester in the league or cup after 4 games. I've lost 3 of them, losing 5-1 to Watford, 2-1 to Southampton and getting knocked out of the cup by Stockport on penalties. It's going brilliantly with Peterborough. Billy McKay and Matt Jansen up front and some chap called Svensson (available on a free) bossing the midfield with some chap that Villa sent me on loan. Even Josh Low is playing well. Can see Milan pulling the trigger soon - he's not happy, especially as I asked him for some money after he sold 3 of my players for below my valuation and I've been commenting on all the controversy!

Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 We're on a fine run now, scored 27 goals in our last 9 games Currently 5th in the league, into the 5th round of FA Cup but out of the Carling Cup (To Boro) Signed Dean Leacock for £1.3 million, Mark Gower for 275k (Bargain :w00t:) and Ricardo Fuller for 160k (3 goals in 3 games so far ) Those three signings were in January. Also managed to get rid of Rab (To Forest ) for cash + a half decent player, Luke Chambers. Screen shots below:

Has anyone managed to get DJ campbell scoring? He regularly has 7 or 8 shots but has only scored twice for me (four games in to the real season - both penalties).

Scored 10 in first 6 games for me, then only scored 4 more all season. His failure to convert chances against watford in a playoff semi, cost me the tie.

I play 3 centre backs, two wing backs with forward arrows, a defensive midfielder, two attacking midfielders and two strikers. So yeah 3-5-2 basically. And DJ's poor on mine too, misses incredible amounts of chances. Thinking of getting rid actually

Don't understand why Magunda in particular won't go. I could really do with some versatile defensive cover and he about fits the bill.
