Samilktray Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Just got it started, Any tips on players to pick up for leicester at the start of the game ?
FilboFox Posted 23 October 2007 Author Posted 23 October 2007 ------------------------- Fulop -------------------------- ---------- Kishishev - N'Gotty - Stearman ---------- --|--------------------------------------------------| --|--------------------------------------------------| Kaebi ----------------------------------------- Mattock ---------------------- Clemence ---------------------- ----------/------------------------------------\ -------/------------------------------------------\ Ferreira ---------------------------------------- Porter ------------- Fryat ----------- Campbell ------------- This is my team. I know that there are no new signings and it should really have better players... I am looking for some to suit the team but I am sticking with this until then... 4 wins and 1 draw from 5 games including friendlies isn't bad.
Joe. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Just had an incredible game vs. West Brom. We scored in 31st minute through Mark Gower (God.), then they equalised just on half time. Then they scored 84th minute and I thought it was over. Then I shoved N'Gotty up front, brought on Bjorn Runstrom (So had 4 up front ) and went long ball. Got the equaliser in 89th minute. Then put Bruno back in defence, and Ricardo Fuller bags the winner in 94th minute. Happy days Currently 5th with 5 games remaining.
FilboFox Posted 23 October 2007 Author Posted 23 October 2007 Fulop has conceded some SHITE goals since I started... just cost us two crap goals in a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace!!! For Gods sake!!!
FilboFox Posted 23 October 2007 Author Posted 23 October 2007 Another defeat... 2-1 to Watford. We took the lead with 15 minutes left and then ANOTHER long range goal went in... Fulop's a TWAT!
dave_the_fox Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 my transfers at the start :- (hopefully ) btw chelsea are my feeder! thats why i got those crappy players
Joe. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Another defeat... 2-1 to Watford. We took the lead with 15 minutes left and then ANOTHER long range goal went in... Fulop's a TWAT! He's good on mine. Although last game we played (we lost 3-1 <_<), a game which we really needed to win to keep pressure at the top, the first goal was embarrasingly his fault.
David Guiza Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 3rd in the league thanks to a kevin phillips hat trick .
dandannieldanok Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Currently 2nd in the league. Signed callum davidson for left back cover. (Don't sign him he's shit)Got Danny Haynes and Ephraim bagging the goals up front. Got knocked out of league cup by Grimsby, first round but im focussing on promotion! You know it makes sense Just got it started, Any tips on players to pick up for leicester at the start of the game ? Hogan Ephraim on loan
FilboFox Posted 23 October 2007 Author Posted 23 October 2007 He's good on mine.Although last game we played (we lost 3-1 <_<), a game which we really needed to win to keep pressure at the top, the first goal was embarrasingly his fault. He's been GOOD on yours!?! He must have conceded 4 long range shots in the first 5 games on mine!!! He's awful! Can't save shit... I'll stick by him but I quit that game after an embarrasing 2-0 defeat to Man City... you didn't see our performance... it should have been 7 or 8-0. Time to stop defending and be more agressive and MAKE SOME SIGNINGS!!!
dandannieldanok Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Any tips on potential midfielders ? Richard Hughes is a good defensive midfielder. Bjarni Vidarsson on loan. Both good.
Samilktray Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Finding it pretty hard to shift deadwood on this game, any ideas on how to overcome this ?
Ozwin Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 To be honest, it's much easier than last year to sell Elivis, Levi and a couple of others.
FilboFox Posted 23 October 2007 Author Posted 23 October 2007 Yeah... a few clubs were interested in him when I was on last time!
dandannieldanok Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Just lost in the play-off semis against Brum (2nd season as you might guess)
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Currently 1st with 26 games played. Just beat Wigan in an FA Cup 4th Round replay at the Walkers (who are bottom of the Prem) 2-1 with an 120th min winner!! Observations - Cort - shite Hammond - even worse Mattock - god Kisnorbo - god bringing Ashley Chambers through gradually (with interest from Prem!) N'Gotty - god MCauley - solid Kaebi - good Fryatt - good Hume - good Campbell - solid Weso - god (Vice Capt) Clem - joy (Capt) Signed Almeyda and Trabelsi on frees. Guy called Fer from PSV I think for £35k (same position as Mattock, same age, same ish stats), signed Fulop for £490k. Anderson Silva from Everton for £250k (just signed). Play a 3-5-2 fairly attacking counter attack football. Short passing, quick tempo. Usually start Hume in mid with Clem and Weso. Mattock/Trabelsi wingbacks with Sheehan and Kaebi as cover, but also use Kaebi in CM. Fulop in goal, back 3 of MCauley, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo with Stearman as cover. Up front between Fryatt/Campbell/Chambers sometimes Hume. The game refers to me as 'over achieving Leicester' as well. Turning down over a £1m for Mattock and £1.1m for Kisnorbo... and gave them new contracts. Got rid of a lot of deadwood too!!!
Scott BUFC Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I like Boston, there going to be my next club after Leicester. Good effort. You'll probably start the season and friendlies quite poorly due to the brand new squad and the increased power of 'unfamiliarity' this year
Scott BUFC Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Being as I have Leicester as my parent club, I utilised the unlimited loans in Conference North very well... here's my dealings with The Foxes: 2007/8 - Conference North champions Max Gradel - Free Lee Hildreth - Loan Billy McKay - Loan (11 goals in 20 games) Alex Cisak - Loan Eric Odhiambo - Loan (25 goals in 32 games) Andy King - Loan Kraig Rochester - Loan Joe Magunda - Loan Alan Sheehan - Loan Ryan Beswick - Free Ashley Chambers - Loan (22 goals in 19 games!) 2008/9 - Conference Premier 8th Conrad Logan - Loan Louis Dodds - Free (32 goals in 51 games) Ricky Sappleton - Loan (1 goal in 7 games) Eric Odhiambo - Loan (19 in 37 games) Lee Hildreth - Loan Andy King - Free Alan Sheehan - Free Jeffrey Bruma - Loan (bought from Chelsea)
TheBlinding Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 4-3-1-2.Its working well in the Premiership as we are 12th after 16 games. The prem is difficult but our home record is doing us proud. Its hit or miss with 7 wins and 7 losses so far but thank fook for... Neeeeeeeeeeeeery Castillo Neeeeeeeeeeeeery Castillo £10m spent on him, 9 in 11 and is proud of the clubs position (12th out of 20 ) I wont be playing the game much from herein as I wont have the chance to play it abroad so I`ll have to catch up when I return. No doubt by then you`ll have compiled a list of quality players for me I just got him for 11.2 million. Scored a hat-trick 2nd game against Brum, but Hugo Sanchez keeps on calling him and mosquito up to the Mexico squad and they keep on missing games
Joe. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Any tips on potential midfielders ? Mark Gower if you can afford 275k. Genius signing if you can get him.
Finnegan Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Can someone tell me what Stevey Naismith's like on this?
Joe. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Balls. We messed up our promotion hopes at the end of the season, going on a very bad run of form. In the end, finished 10th, 5 points off the playoffs <_< Can someone tell me what Stevey Naismith's like on this? Don't know about him but Freddy Eastwood's good
Joe. Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Anyone seen this....http://footballmanagerportal.co.uk/blog/fo...ithout-a-patch/ Any truth to it? Oh dear. Just noticed it's happened on mine. Oh well it's nice to see an Estonia vs Andorra Quarter Final
dandannieldanok Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 The Walkers Stadium is being expanded as I enter my third season, an extra 4,500 seats
