Gerry`s presence at the club seems to have been a positive one and apparently he was the one giving out instructions against the Florists, but why is he so in the media at Megsons expense?! Whethers its on the OS like today or at the grounds, Megson is in the background. Is Taggs the manager?? He has even started to dress like one! lol

Gerry Taggart has issued a rallying cry to supporters ahead of Saturday's Championship clash against Charlton Athletic at the Valley.

The Foxes confirmed on Thursday that they had already sold over 1,500 tickets for the fixture - and that figure could rise further with fans able to pay on the day.

And Taggart believes that the Blue Army will have a big part to play as Leicester look to continue their unbeaten away record for the season to date.

Taggart said: "The Valley is always a difficult place to go and our travelling fans can have a big factor on the game this weekend.

"I can say from experience that there is little better as a player than playing in front of a passionate and pumped up City support.

"When I look back to my times at Filbert Street - there is no doubt that our supporters played a big part in our success under Martin O'Neill. They bought into what we were doing.

"If we are going to progress and be successful then we all need to be battling for the same cause.

"There are going to be times when the opposition dominate on the field for periods during the game, especially away from home. That's when the team on the field need the supporters the most."

Taggart was named as first team coach upon the appointment of Gary Megson last week, and he added that he is relishing his new role.

He added: "It's absolutely fantastic to be back at Leicester City. I've never made any secret of the fact that I had the best playing days of my career here, and to be involved with the club once again is just tremendous."

I really hope this management team work, i really think a character of Taggs stature will be a great boost to our team, imagine him giving out hair dryer treatment, it would be more like throttling treatment....

I wouldnt mess with the man.... i reckon they all address him as Mr T.....

Quality For Leicester mind!

All this makes me laugh........the sequence of events at forest the other night.

whilst it was 1-1 (1-0 Sheehan) - fans singing Gerry's.......

whilst it was 2-1 (1-1) - idiots singing Martin Allen....... no support for Megson or Gerry.

then from 88mins - all the f**king idiots are singing for Gerry.

Quite clear what his going to happen under this regime....

winning - the praise is for Gerry

losing - the support for MA. Or I day sare calls for Megsons head and not Gerrys ??

And all this after a dreadful performance at FOREST. What the season holds for us. Fickle fickle fickle
