ronnup Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 no thanks. If we loan a pissing striker with our holes in the squad i'll cry
FilboFox Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 We need to start getting some of the useless players sold! We can't keep them all!!! Nobody will want to come to a club that still has players that are about League 1 standard!

Nobody will want to come to a club that still has players that are about League 1 standard! Moot point mate. We can't get rid until January now. Unless we can offload some on loan but that's not really a total solution. I'd take Fuller - for a few months anyway.
Milky Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 He actually ****ing scored against us again. It's about time Manwell shut up isn't it?
dandannieldanok Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 It's about time Manwell shut up isn't it? Hopefully but I doubt it.
JoeyB Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 He actually ****ing scored against us again. Wicked defelction tho'
dandannieldanok Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 I didn't go to the game today but by the sounds of it de Vries and Cort were so pathetic that Fuller would instantly be a good buy.
Brainy Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Can somebody give me a reason as to why Fuller is so shit? A valid one. I want goals, Fuller seems to provide them.
The Reverend Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Can somebody give me a reason as to why Fuller is so shit? A valid one.I want goals, Fuller seems to provide them. Yeah against us!!! I rate him but apart from his goal he was dire today, about as good as de vries and cort.
ASH17LCFC Posted 29 September 2007 Author Posted 29 September 2007 Yeah against us!!!I rate him but apart from his goal he was dire today, about as good as de vries and cort. What game was you at ?! He was a class act and stearman couldn't get nowhere near him. Manwell is eating his hat i hope.
syston_fox Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 What game was you at ?! He was a class act and stearman couldn't get nowhere near him. Manwell is eating his hat i hope. Yeah in the first half.... did he do anything in the second 45?
ASH17LCFC Posted 29 September 2007 Author Posted 29 September 2007 Yeah in the first half.... did he do anything in the second 45? Out of all the strikers on show today : Cresswell Fuller DJ De Vries Cort Fryatt Hume Fuller was the best, He created the most problems by far and his goal was very good.
syston_fox Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 His goal was deflected in - i believe Fulop would have saved it if it hadnt. Whilst Fuller ws reasonable, I dont think he's what we need to help us move up this league.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 It's about time Manwell shut up isn't it? It's to late, Fuller will score against us forever more. Apparently he looks fat and unfit though, which means he's probabley even worse than usual. EDIT: and why would I eat my hat Ash, because he scored one goal against us. I think not, he always scores against us. It's the law, he's still crap.
Thracian Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 Can somebody give me a reason as to why Fuller is so shit? A valid one.I want goals, Fuller seems to provide them. And you're right. I couldn't believe he was only 27. After one run forward he even looked knackered just walking back to the halfway line. I thought he was going to call for oxygen. But he's got a consistent record over many years of scoring about once in three at Hearts, Preston, Southampton and Stoke. Portsmouth was his only serious blip with one goal in 31.

Think that was in the prem wasn't it? Championship is his level. Don't like him myself - but he ALWAYS scores against us. Give me Danny Invincibile any day.
ASH17LCFC Posted 1 October 2007 Author Posted 1 October 2007 The man had Stearman in his pocket, Stearman couldn't deal with him and the man can take players on so easy. He always looks like he's gonna score and he didn't look unfit, looked the best striker on show. Soon has his name was called out everyone was saying ... He'll score and he did. He is a good striker and better then what we've got.

Stearman wasn't marking him, Stearman was RIGHT WING-BACK fi your going to attach blame it should be to N'Gotty who was the nearest CENTRE BACK to him, get over your obsession with slating Stearman your worse then Thrac with his constant praise for Sheehan and the as yet unseen King, its boring, repetative and with out just cause
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 Stearman wasn't marking him, Stearman was RIGHT WING-BACK fi your going to attach blame it should be to N'Gotty who was the nearest CENTRE BACK to him, get over your obsession with slating Stearman your worse then Thrac with his constant praise for Sheehan and the as yet unseen King, its boring, repetative and with out just cause I'd have said N'Gotty played as the spare man in the middle so it was really one of the two man-markers either side of him. Stearman was marking Cresswell.
Jimmy Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 Kisnorbo was in the middle of the back 3 with McAuley and N'Gotty either side, Stearman was dealing with who ever they had playing on the left
Joe. Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 What game was you at ?! He was a class act and stearman couldn't get nowhere near him. Manwell is eating his hat i hope. You have to be taking the piss. Fuller was shite as he always is, and he's definitely not "class".
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 You have to be taking the piss. Fuller was shite as he always is, and he's definitely not "class". Scored against us at least six times now in his career.
