Seen Weso at the hospital yesterday though i didn't say anything he was limping quite badly.

you think he could limp quite well now with all the practice he's had ;)

seriously though; a bitter blow ; hope he gets back soon :(

I could see it coming and as someone else said the other day, Weso is due an injury anytime soon. :nono:

I was concerned about him playing two tough games in four days - they asked him to do something similar last season and he got crocked.

He's still a young lad in a very industrious position. A little consideration and common sense might help.

So you could say then that porter and the other young ones should play every other week, because there young! :P

Such a shame. The partnership with Clemence has being fantastic for us this season, hopefully this is a one off and wont be a recurring injury for the whole season.

Gutted, i wonder if he will play chambers centre midfield again

Alsmost certain to be Kishishev I reckon, he likes to go with experience.

Danns would be a good acquisition. We've already got Birmingham's best centre mid though.

Danns banged in a hattrick for their ressies the other night I think.

How you figure that I don't know. But I would be very careful about playing anyone with a history of injuries two 90-minute or near 90-minute games in four days.

I would take the same view with some of our older players. N'Gotty, for instance, looked tired against Forest.

No player is good enough to be rested every week. It cant do too much for the team if you think that a player is good enough to be rested from midweek games. What happens at Xmas and other busy periods as from memory, the second half of the season is littered with midweek fixtures.

Ive always said that younger players should be rested every now and again and nurtured into the first team but not at the expense of buggering up the balance of the side. I dont think long term that Weso will have a problem with his fitness as this current injury isnt related to his previous absences from the first team and anyway, he managed to score on a Tuesday at Accrington after playing 90 mins the previous Saturday against Blackpool. Its easy to make assumptions about his inability to play 2 games a week after he has just pulled a hamstring but before we judge him on the rest of his career, lets see how he copes when he returns from fitness.

Incidentally, Weso was at the training ground this morning looking like he was in for some training with the rest of the lads.

Promising signs.
