Well and truly had enough of Milan. Bizare decisions, interfering with the team, criticising the fans....Wish he'd s0d off away from our club!!!

So why did Milan not appreciate all that before he gave him a three-year contract? It was all there to be seen.

A likely scenario?

His first choice was Warnock but due to fan pressure he had to change his mind quickly, he made a major judgement error in picking Allen but gave him some rope to see if it'd work out, it didn't so he acted.

Great management is never making a mistake, good management is fixing your mistakes, bad management is doing nothing about your mistakes.

Why should i respect him? Hes only here for the money. The problem Milan has got is that alot of clubs in this league are getting taken over. Promotion is getting very difficult. He;ll be off within 3 yrs.

Because he's trying to get this club out of the mire it's been in for years, it doesn't matter how much money he makes in the process. If you don't think that he is trying to improve the club then you might as well send him your ticket back.

There's no point, mate...these people are so damn stooopid that they have no comprehension of the state the club was in prior to MM ~ and they seem to occupy a plane of existence where they think driving him out from the club will benefit everyone.

I blame Thatcher. Before Thatch everyone was happy with there being a few clever people and many thick people but her drive to increase graduates has gone hand in hand with the banning of the word 'stupid'.

Nowadays everyone is entitled to an opinion for some reason, and dumbass-Britain seem to have many of them.

They'll not be told.

I was speaking to Leicester fan down at football last night. I’ve never met him before, he’s not my friend but you don’t see too many where I live so I chatted to him.

Anyway, he was saying that Martin Allen prevented the players wives, birds, family etc from being anywhere near football club to stop them interfering. Apparantly all the player’s f ucking hated Allen and got to a point where either they would leave or the Allen had to go. His general attitude and approach to training and the players were awful. He treated a lot people like shit for no reason.

At the end of the day I believe something like this must have happened. Nobody really knows what went on but you can draw your own conclusions as to why he was sacked so dramatically, and Milan obviously really hates Martin Allen for whatever reason.

It would be good if people could just forget it and move on.

This thread is totally fecking pointless!

CLOSE IT!

Ash17 whatever - if you are a ST holder, give it to someone who cares about the FOOTBALL.

Don't worry about what MM is doing - we are better off with him than we were without him.

I agree with MM, if you don't like it, feck off!

Twats!

CLOSE THIS THREAD!

Just don't bother buying any more tickets, the club doesn't need you.

Whatever!!! :dunno:

This is bloody stupid.

Exactly, this whole argument is mad. Milan we won't go and support Allen as we support LEICESTER. And Allen isn't at LEICESTER. Its quite simple really.

Sort yourself out. Ive spent 1000's on City over the years and one mad chairman wont stop me spending more. Is no one entitled to their own opinion on here or do we all have to agree with you??
If anyone wants to get rid of their season ticket, can I have it to get a ticket for the villa game. Cheers
You will get a ticket on Monday. We wont sell out i doubt.

You can have any opinion you like, just stop bleating on about it and give the chairman a break, I honestly can't see why so many people seem to think that Allen was anything special.

Where are the mods when you need 'em??

They often close sensible threads, but this one is a joke.

Having an opinion is fine and just, but this argumentitve bollox is pointless.

If you don't like it, don't go!!

Simple.

Simpletons.

I've heard similar.

There's nothing wrong with being a disciplinarian, but there's a big difference between that and bullying people for the sake of it

Kent Fox buddy, everyone is entitled to there opninion, if that's the way they feel and do not want to support our club then so be it, although I may not have a season ticket and for me there's no value in having one but to stop supporting the club in it's current situation is ridiculious, but I quite like listening to there reasons, it makes me feel alot more level headed and composed in such are turbulant time!!!

Agreed, but players these are treated like 'kings', the senior players from 'bigger' clubs would not take to there footballing lifestyles changing so much!!!

I agree with the first part - in fact I have just edited it in to my last.

If you don't like something - anything - normal people don't go near it. I don't like tripe, so I don't eat it.

(Crap analogy, but you get my drift)

There is NO POINT arguing this! MM is not going to change.

Like I said, we are still better off with than without him.

And it's only going to be turbulant if people continue to think it is! Some people need to get over MA, and get on with supporting the club they apparently love so much.

This could go on for ever - POINTLESS!

Now I am going over to the Fuller thread and close it.

(If only I was a mod...)

However isn't this whole topic is based on the fact that MM is the one still going on about it in todays Sport Blue!

I'm all for anyone that gets paid shedloads of money having to work hard for it, but I suspect that there's a bit more to this than the players being told to knuckle down.

I enjoyed reading MA's messages, but since he left looking back on them there's a lot of rhetoric and stuff to get that the fans would want to hear about passion and all that but not that much substance. We all hear about the 'sweeping changes' and bonkers stories about swimming across rivers and all that, but there isn't much evidence to suggest any level of technical ability or awareness. It's not to say he didn't have any - but if he was deficient in this area, the bluster and talk is a good thing to hide behind. I'm perhaps reading too much into it but the first thing he's done since leaving is sign up on more coaching courses, so maybe he thinks this is where he came unstuck. It would be interesting to see if anyone above league one or two gives him a job any time soon

Agreed BS but I can imagine the players being a part of it aswell!!!

We have got to accept that Milan loves the media, loves giving it the passionate slant and is desperate to get the fans to support his decisions regardless as he thinks he knows the best way to succeed. What he may not understand is that we are not a bunch of fans who have had it easy or have quietly plodded along over the years like say, a QPR, who have all of a sudden got major investment and anything that we get is a bonus. As fans, I cant think of that many who have had such a traumatic decade and some fans are still carrying the scars of yesteryear.

Me personally, I am just so happy that we aren't just buying the Bosmans no-one else wants and are competitive in the market. I am delighted to see players like Clemence, N`Gotty, Chambers, Fulop amongst others who have joined the club as we have some real good players now and I am overjoyed that we actually have the basis of a team to be proud of and not one that is only good for ridicule like COG, Low, Hughes, AJ, Elvis and the other ponies that started last season.

Back on topic, Milan is OTT, at times annoyingly, but he is here and he is on our side as he aims to hit his targets of making millions by seeing us promoted to the Premier League. Having a pop at some fans and telling them to return season tickets (if he did indeed say this) is of course another rant from an OTT old man who doesn't want anyone ruining his business opportunity! I know it sounds harsh but its as simple as that. Back him or fook off is what he is saying which is fair enough, especially as many fans only jump on board when things are looking good as this seasons opening home fixtures have proved compared to last season.

Posted
but were you saying that the other week just after we thrashed Watford? I doubt you were calling him a t**t then.

no i wasnt

i was saying it long before that match.

i thought it was a dubious appointment in the first place but, rightly, i was prepared to support the guy.

as pre-season progressed i grew more and more uncomfortable with him. after the blackpool game i was pretty much certain that i didnt like the guy as our manager.

being fair to him though, that wasnt based on our defeat in that game, it was based on just him!!!

this is a valid point thracian!

i can only assume that milan realised over the course of the summer and pre season he had made the wrong choice.

a mistake.

given the nature of football, i guess milan cant afford to make mistakes but did so here.

but again to be fair to him he did something about it sooner rather than later.
