Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 Sounds about right. I'll admit I'm not 100% pro gay but I am far, far from considering myself important enough to be resistant towards gay activities such as this or trying to restrict homosexuality in any other way. I'm not for homosexuality and in many ways I'm against it but it's far too harmless to be actively resisted. They can do whatever they want as long as noone is getting hurt. That's the funniest thing I've read on here for ages! I'm not sure why, it just made me laugh!
Joe. Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 Im sure there are quite a few gay footballers already playing football but remain firmly in the closet as they know that if they tell the truth all hell would break loose and it would probably make their careers impossible and would ruin their lives as the homophobic football supporters kick into gear with chants or annoying the poor sods in pubs and clubs. Already internet rumours of players like Sol Campbell being gay have caused so much embarrassment and hassle to himself and his immediate family that it has ended up with his brother being arrested and jailed for a year after he had a fight with a uni colleague who was calling his brother gay! http://www.guardian.co.uk/gayrights/story/...1499000,00.html I can't think of any professional footballer other than Justin Fashanu who openly admitted that he was gay. I'm sure most of us know what happened to him...
Bryn Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 That's the funniest thing I've read on here for ages! I'm not sure why, it just made me laugh! Funny haha? Or funny in a "Ah it's only DB11 again" kinda way? Or is it more "****s sake it's Thracian and he's got a whole can of Porterlove to unleash" kinda funny?
MPH Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 i wonder if this guy will be reffing any of the games.... Gay Referee Sorry i couldnt resist posting this again... And no... i dont imagine the gay world cup to be like this..
Finnegan Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 So Hairy said 'disabled' and it was in fact 'learning disabilities'. The evil bastard. If you ever got of your high horse you might realise that not everybody apart from yourself is looking to oppress minorities they've just got their own life to lead. It wasn't that that fooking pissed me off, it was the fook he compared, by proxy, being disabled and being gay. There's a good fooking reason why there was a world cup, olympics and whatnot for people who aren't capable of competing at a professional level. How the fook does being gay in anyway impair your sporting ability!??! And I'll stop being a whiney, liberal, student equal-rights moaner when people stop being fooking ignorant.
