TrickyTrev Posted 26 February 2005 Posted 26 February 2005 I have a feeling Taylor my feck it up at Hull, despite having the biggest budget in the division and the best player. Brian Little has built such a quality little side at Tramnere, I would love for him to get them promoted.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 27 February 2005 Posted 27 February 2005 Taylor hasn't got the excuse of Hull having a shit stadium like he did at Brighton. I'm sure the fact that he'd have to face us was a reason he left Brighton. Time may be a healer but four years is not long enough by a long way for us to forgive or forget how badly Taylor screwed up here. I think it'll be like Dennis Wise's return but five times worse.

What a #### though ay, utter, utter ####.
Scarby Posted 27 February 2005 Posted 27 February 2005 Guys lets face it PT has become a much better manager since he left us and has done wonders with Hull (we cant blame it on the KC stadium beingbetter than Boothberry) and fair play to him. Remember he did get us to Number 1. in the Prem for first time in years and years if only he had better footballing knowledge..but he doubt what he had in mind was LCFC he just was shite at it. I personally wish him luck at Hull !
Anish Posted 27 February 2005 Posted 27 February 2005 I think Taylor will count himself lucky that when he comes back to Leicester next season it will have been 4 years since his departure and his attempt to destroy the club. A lot has happened since then and although I know he will get a hostile reception when Hull come to the WS, I think it would've been a hell of a lot worse if he had come back sooner. Time will prove to be a healer...luckily for Taylor.

Ric Flair Posted 28 February 2005 Posted 28 February 2005 Taylor seriously ballsed up at Leicester whether he didn't mean it or not. If he hasn't any remorse for what he did at Leicester then he's a bigger monster than I thought he was. The fact that he felt hard done by when he was sacked makes the matter worse, what he did at Leicester isn't far off what Saddam Hussein did in Iraq. He ruined a thriving club and left it in a truely horrible state. If it wasn't for promotion under Adams then who knows what state we would be in, I think money wise our club isn't in that bad a situation for a championship club but considering Taylor had nearly £30 million to spend only 4 years ago it's criminal. I hate him, I can't wait to see him squirm when he brings his his two bit Hull to The Walkers next season. TWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

breadandcheese Posted 28 February 2005 Posted 28 February 2005 If any of you have any self-respect, you will applaud Micky Adams. It was right to get rid of him (I agreed with it and still do) and I am glad we have Levein to build the future. All I am saying is remember what Micky did for us. At the lowest moment in the club's history (administration, not La Manga), he got the team galvanised and motivated. We got promotion straight away, which helped to pull us out of admin. A lot of people hark on about how we had a premiership team anyway and that is how we got promotion, but he played his part, make no mistake. For that, I thank him, the same way I do to all the players involved right down to the tea ladies (those that still had a job) Not to mention the way Micky behaved in La Manga. People can blame him, but at the end of the day, the players who got duped and accused by those German prostitutes should not have been caught out like that. They are adults looked up to by thousands of people. Micky behaved and responded impeccibly as a an ambassador for this club. It was that that gave us a bit of grace by the press and helped with our tattered reputation. Yes I know the press was pretty harsh but they could have been worse. My point is that Micky did a good job for us. He did not walk out on us. He did not leave the club in a state beyond repair (a la Taylor). He is a decent bloke. I will be applauding Micky when Coventry visit the Bowl as a thank you for his service to the club. (No, I will not be cheering Coventry on)

Taylor Boo - You bet and more Clap - only if I can find someone infected with it to pass it on to him Show respect - not until he has the guts to say, Yes I made mistakes, Yes I wasted a lot of money, I didn't have the necessary experience to manage a club with your status and position - This **** still says we will not lose any money on the players he bought, enough said.
