May well take a trip to Hinckley tonight to see the game.

Let's face it, we've only had glimpses of Kaebi and Ferrari :P so far this season.

Maybe a chance to see alot more of them and gauge their chances of making the first team.

I've had enough of this. If I'd realised before the season we were going to buy two exciting foreign attacking midfielders and play them in the reserves I wouldn't have bothered with my season ticket and just gone to the reserve games instead.

GET KAEBI IN THE F**KING TEAM YOU F**KING BUNCH OF F**KING F**KS

Summed up beautifully

This clubs just a joke at the minute.

It really does seem that way.

Fantastic news that Hammond makes his return.

If he gets anywhere near the first team this season I will be appalled. He is a joke of a footballer.

There are obviously reasons why Kaebi and Ferreira aren't making it anywhere near the first team yet.

I assume Ferreira hasn't played much football recently and needs his match fitness :dunno:

Kaebi on the other hand I have no idea about...

Megson doesn't like wingers and isn't a fan of expansive, exciting football.

He'll soon have to play them though as Sheehan is garbage and there is hardly a plethora of left-footedness in the squad.

Looks like Kaebi, Ferreira, Djeziri will be missing out on the Villa game then. Get Megson out now-he is so negative, this is ridiculous. The cup would be the perfect opportunity to field a more attacking team and see how that works out. From this team selection for the reserves it looks like the squad for villa will be very similar to the one against Charlton.

These three will leave without being given a fair chance - am sick of our crap football club at the minute

The only thing I can think of with Kaebi is the language and understanding thing.

After his cameo at Watford I thought things were looking up for him but he just seems to of vanished into the wilderness again, sadly.

I wish a few of the others would find their way in to the wilderness.

Then we could beat them with a baseball bat.

I'm delighted and hope he does well. Unlike TPH I take no pleasure in any of our players doing badly or in hoping people don't perform just to justify my own opinion. I think the option of Hammond's pace and ability to upset defenders been missing from the bench and when people talk about players who are willing to compete then Hammond is as good as any.

Just as I wish Fryatt the best of luck whether he's my favourite player or no, so I wish the same for Elvis. Frankly I'm sick of the way some fans want to constantly rip our players to bits and singularly fail to see how it helps.

I'd have every single player in after the Charlton game - not to tell them how bad they how good I know they are and how everything is now were geared to building up towards the return and giving them such a good hiding.

As I've said previously. Any idiot can manage players when they're doing well. I'll be interested to see how Megson lifts them and motivates them now they're struggling. Cos that's the real measure of a manager.

If Kaebi and Ferreira are fit what is the problem with keeping them out of a cup game that we are unlikely to win, in a cup that we definitely won't win?

To be honest I'll be unhappy if they don't play in the league but couldn't care less if they don't play at Villa.

Because Villa's the next game. We should endeavour to do our very best in every match to foster an attitutde among the playersand within the club.

Furthermore, while it is clear some fans think otherwise, Kaebi and Ferreira are by no means the magical and automatic answer to our problem, they are purported to be.

If they play against Villa the manager will be able to see what flaws become apparent at that level and, perhaps, do something about them.

Because both showed flaws enough in reserve games.

I'm guessing you're talking about Kaebi's defensive lapses, and Ferreira's lack of pace and positional sense? If that's the case i'd agree.

Despite those apparent flaws though, for me they are still looking better than the other (rather shitty) options.

McKay has been banging them in - result? - gets dropped to bench.

Elvis - pile of sh ite. result? - in the team.

Makes me sick.

or perhaps mckay is dropped with a view to a potential step up yo the bench on weds, or at least on saturday?

I've given up bothering trying to work out any of the decisions going on at them moment. Really glad I'm not bothering with Villa at the moment, with the kind of teams and ways of playing that Megson's adopting.

Supply and demand - if he was any good someone would have loaned/bought him by now (granted a League 1/2 club might not be able to afford the wages <_< ), similar to Dodds - if he was good enough for the Championship a Championship club is where he would be.

You'd back the professionals' judgement eh? In which case how the hell did people like Low, Sylla, Jarrett, Horsfield, Glombard, Yeates turn up here?

The wages issue might be closer to reality - either that or Hammond believes he can still deliver. And looking at our choice of attackers thus far this season I'm damned sure he's got a point.
