surrifox Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 another day another shite England cricket performance against Sri Lanka who didn't even have Muralitharan chucking it down at them
Milky Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 Sri Lanka always beat us in ODI's. 7 out of the last 8 i believe.
David O'Leary Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 another day another shite England cricket performance against Sri Lanka who didn't even have Muralitharan chucking it down at them He has been cleared of throwing about 5 times now by the ICC so don't start that
Sods Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 Sri lanka are a quality outfit though, best one day side in my opinion. Quality coach as well
Milky Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 Same story with England Yeh, like the 4-3 series win over India a few weeks ago.
Raj Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 Yeh, like the 4-3 series win over India a few weeks ago. Someone speak???
Geo V Posted 1 October 2007 Posted 1 October 2007 I didnt watch todays shite but its no surprise to me to see KP doing sod all in a game that means nothing. I love the bloke as a player when he really is up for it but its usually in high profile games and tours like this dont seem to interest him.
surrifox Posted 2 October 2007 Author Posted 2 October 2007 He has been cleared of throwing about 5 times now by the ICC so don't start that I wonder it was necessary to refer him 5 times then - it is quite obvious to anyone who has ever played or watched the game that when he is under pressure or striving for turn on an unhelpful pitch that his arm is bent at the elbow on delivery and that makes it a throw Don't rely on what the ICC say too much equivocation and self interest there
Milky Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Excellent win for England! Eng 234-8 SL 169 ALL OUT Same old England! lol Well done lads, good comeback
David O'Leary Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 I wonder it was necessary to refer him 5 times then- it is quite obvious to anyone who has ever played or watched the game that when he is under pressure or striving for turn on an unhelpful pitch that his arm is bent at the elbow on delivery and that makes it a throwDon't rely on what the ICC say too much equivocation and self interest there Because his right arm is double jointed in the elbow and the wrist it creates an optical illusion looking like he bends his arm more than 15 degrees so he has been called for throwing, why can't people just accept the fact that he doesn't throw and get on with the game
Geo V Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Excellent win for England!Eng 234-8 SL 169 ALL OUT Same old England! lol Well done lads, good comeback I didn't expect the improvement if I'm honest. Good on the lads although KP continues to look disinterested as he isn't playing in front of full houses against a real big side! KP sort it out mate!
Milky Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 Oh dear, running out of wickets! 55 from 14 overs with 3 wickets left. It seems really hard to score runs on this pitch unfortunately Still in it though! Come on lads!
Milky Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 I reckon we should just sneak it here. Swann and Broad are certainly doing a sterling job.
Flynny Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 Swann and Broad are certainly doing a sterling job. If we win and Swann finishes up not out or gets more than about 35 he'll be MOTM surely?
Milky Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 If we win and Swann finishes up not out or gets more than about 35 he'll be MOTM surely? Definately. Took 4-34 with the ball aswell. He's been great since coming in to the side. A shame for Monty mind, cus he's got to play to learn the game and get better.

Flynny Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 Still doable, Sidebottom can bat a bit. Only just noticed that thats 3 Notts bowlers in a row there.
Milky Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 Just 13 to go! Tense! ...11 ....10 .....9 (one at a time lads!) ......8 .......7 .......6 (shit we only have 10 balls left!) ......2! (YEEEES! Great 4 broady!)
