He left by mutual consent... and I'm pretty sure that he would have suggested it too as he was saying yesterday that he was questionning his tenure there.

Ah... OK.

But I agree about Martin Allen... he could really come back to bite us in the arse!

:yesyes:

As I stated yesterday, I had read an article on the beeb where Grant was questioning his future. Hours later, this article became the one about Grant leaving by mutual consent after discussions with the board.

This could well be mutual consent proper... rather than the usual "mutual consent" which is just a face-saving way of saying someone jumped or was pushed. :)

Whatever we think about it Martin Allen is history. Wherever he goes he could come back and have a laugh at our expense. Just as Paul Ince could seeing as he wasn't "experienced enough/good enough" for us.

We should concentrate on what Megson can do. I've no reason to believe MA would have necessarily done any better so far, just that it might have been a bit more entertaining.

Yeah... I would agree with that. And to be honest, I personally think that Megson is a better manager than Allen...

Yet another coach who has been dubbed as "World Class" but has come unstuck when it comes to management. Im not sure what percentage of quality coaches who dont become good managers but the list seems endless.

Narrich were really woeful against QPR. Nothing is going for them at the moment.

2 month into the season and 4 managers have already been given their P45's in this division.

Crazy isn't it. Allen, Gregory, Taylor, Grant...Laws or Robson next?

Robson is living life dangerously at the moment. He could get the boot anytime soon.

Laws might last till Christmas, but not beyond that at this rate.
