Very true, it was quick work that. And to be honest, I don't mind if he doesn't return. At 35 I can't see him suddenly becoming a much better goalkeeper.
MC Prussian Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Three-month loan sounds like a permanent move... hopefully.

Tabou Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I bet we are, He must be on 15-20k a week! Well enough to keep you in Haggis.... (Please excuse my racial slur...)
syston_fox Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Oddly enough he's still training with us at the moment. He was at the training ground today with the first team squad.
MC Prussian Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 He's gone to Wycombe on a permanent move. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...ers/7058186.stm Can I now finally open up the bottle of Champagne?

teblin Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 hmm...it doesnt make it clear he has signed on loan until the end of the season or has signed permanently until the end of the season... Either way he won't play for us again! Out of contract at the end of season
The Stig Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Just a bit of a Rab Douglas update (yep I'm bored). In Wycombe's last five games he's been an used sub. So not playing at City, now can't get in a League 2 team, time to call time on his career I think.

He wont retire just yet, he's getting paid to sit on a bench, im sure the lazy cnut wont be complaining.
coale39 Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Well to be fair if I was in the same position as him, earning prob £150 000 per year, I would see out my contract. I doubt we have rejected any offers for him. Im annoyed at Levein for signing him on such a long contract ( and for signing him at all!)

Tbh i was quite excited when we first signed him because i thought he was gonna be another Walker How Wrong I was I Agree it seemed stupid to sign a goalkeeper of his age on the length of contract we signed him on.
Tevez Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Seen him driving his Bentley in Quorn the other day. Alright for some.
