I actually feel sorry for Milan Mandaric now....

How the hell could he be expected to know Bolton would come in for him?! Your bias is blinding you here.

Don't normally disagree with you Fez but that guy doesn't need to bias to blind him.

For a chairman to make one failed appointment is unfortunate.

But to make THREE in the space of just SIX MONTHS is incompetence of the highest order.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mandaric himself walks away from it all, whatever he may tell the media. Sky have noted today that he looks "a despairing and broken man".

As some of us feared from the start, he has no more an idea on how to run the club successfully than the previous regime did.

Are you counting Worthington in your three?

I don't see how his short term appointment can be deemed a failure as he did what was required of him.

That short term appointment had the potential to become more permanent.

In fact had Worthington won just ONE of the three home games for which he took charge, the call would have been made for that to happen.

But he didn't and it wasn't.

Instead we've had months of hassle and turmoil. And our league results are no better than when Rob kelly was here.

I'm sorry to say that things are unfolding as some of us predicted.

I (and a few others) looked on with amazement when Mandaric was greeted as the saviour who would do as he did at Portsmouth here. There are a few important though subtle differences between our situation and Pompey's.

The first and most important is that they ended up with a remarkable manager in Harry Redknapp. Mandaric's modus operandai is to sack, sack and sack again and he even sacked Harry and was lucky to get him to return when it all went wrong.

Second, they have the best home support bar none in the country which made them virtually unbeatable at Fratton Park. Third, Milan was at Portsmouth before the advent of sugar daddys everywhere and that gave them a competetive edge in the transfer market.

All of these factors meant that the myth that City supporters bought into was bigger than the man. In short he got lucky at Portsmouth. Things have changed and we will not be as lucky again here I'm afraid. I suspect he will sell up eventually and we may well find ourselves in a worse sitaution than before his arrival.

I have no personal vendetta against the man, I just feel that many supporters bought into a possible scenario that was unlikely to become a reality.

I suspect that very few managers of real ability would be willing to work for him (hence the GM appointment), so let's brace ourselves for another disappointing appointment and subsequent miserable football as witnessed on Tuesday evening.

Songs for saturday.

Milan Milan Mandaric, keep it going till he gets the message.

It's Kaebi I feel sorry for. By the time he's learnt how to pronounce the manager's name properly, we keep changing the f**ker. It took me three days to be able to say "Beaglehole" without sniggering so god knows how Kaebi is coping with all this.

Agree with first post. He wants what's best for the club. I think he will get there eventually.

SING YOU HEARTS OUT FOR THE LADS.

The best thing about it is being able to get behind so many different people!

Us City fans have been behind so many men recently we will all turn into batty boys!!

With Gerry Taggart in charge, anything can happen. I will be behind the team for sure.

And I do feel sorry for Milan. I mean, Megson was a bad appointment but today is just a real kick in the bollocks. I'd rather we didn't rush someone in and took the time to find a 3+ year manager

The lads I'm sure will give us a performance on saturday we we're shit last night no doubt about it.

I agree with you we need to find some-one with a bit of staying power to, megson never really was liked by most leicester fans which was a bit unfair as he'd done nothing wrong but now the search goes on, I'm positive MM has our club at his best interest this is why I'm not really worried like you've just said I hope we do not rush in to it leave taggart in charge for a bit if need be and then find some-one that fits the job.

one thing i know for sure...

Before Mandaric had come along, there is no way we would of signed someone like clemence. we could not of afforded the fee, or the wages, and i doubt he wold of seen us as having vision for the future. Wether things have been messed up along the way or not is a different story. I have to admit, i have no clue what happened with Kelly- i loved him and was upset he left.. i was also sceptical about GM...

But one thing i know for sure, I would have less hope for the future of this club without Milan being here...

I can't believe some of the tossers on here with all their negativity and running MM down.

Yeah he made a mistake with MA, it was a popular appointment but he was brave enough to cut his losses - MA was never going to be the answer.

He is the most positive force at the club at the moment and has just been dumpred on from a great height, nobody would have seen that coming.

For LCFC's sake we need to hope MM keeps the faith!!!

Get behind him!!

For a business man that is used to getting his own way, it must be extremely frustrating and deflating.

He is now beginning to know how Leicester fans have felt for the last few months.

Just when you think all the plans you have put in place are coming together,

some tw*t pulls the carpet away from under your feet.

It may be a business to some, but it's a way of life for us fans.

We need stability, commitment and above all loyalty to the cause.

There's not a lot of those values around the club at the moment .

Feel sorry for Mandaric, No way, he is the engineer of his own downfall.
