Jimmy Lad Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Well, judging by the phone in and general consensus on here our new manager should meet the following criteria: 1. Ex Leicester so he knows the passions, expectations etc of the club. 2. Someone who has had managerial experience. 3. Someone who has experience of European football & English football. 4. Someone who has contacts within the game. 5. Someone who is currently successful and has the winning mentality. Filtering all the names mentioned (& some that have not been mentioned) through my computer and only one name ticks all the boxes.... You asked for him ladies & gentlemen. Step forward.... DENNIS WISE!
Chairman of the Bored Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Hello Denis, we recognise your self promotional strategy a mile off. Old Ken still playing hard ball? Think you can return to finally push us over the edge?
Aberdeen_fox Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Someone that packs a punch amongst his team mates.

Mr Happy Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Well ol' Wisey has been poaching our players of recent; MDV, then Kishishev and I heard that he wanted Sheehan so maybe its a sign of whats to come
mkingy Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Ship the rubbish players so that he doesn't have to deal with him when he's here? Sounds feasible.. unfortunately [or maybe just something you'd do on Football Manager xD]

The Reverend Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Wise would do a great job here, would certainly bring some discipline to the camp. Get him in. (Sarcasm, fools)
Vennegoor10 Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Maybe a mixture? How about if Gerry seems to get the players going an we beat barnsley and colchester, would have the passion and feeling for the club but then need a director of football type who has the contacts and can teach a few things too. Unfortunatly no names come to my head for this role apart from Bobby Robson, if he leaves his NI position.
