Suffolk_fox Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 Plenty of teams give others the occasional thrashing.. For some reason we never seem to. The Watford game?
Chairman of the Bored Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 I want the job too! Doesn't mean I'm going to get it though.
stez Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 If we beat Chelsea, the job's his! But see what happens in the next couple of weeks. If we put an unbeaten run together in the league, he's got as good a chance as anyone.. steady on, the spurs game save levein for a while! I want the job too! Doesn't mean I'm going to get it though. do you have a 'tache and flat cap? there's not enough of them in football these days.
Thracian Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 Oh shut up, you delusional fuc k wit. A win is a win. We're not fuc king Chelsea. With people as easily satisfied as you we're not likely to be either. I have no delusions about a win being a win. Nor any delusion about the poor standard of our football and far worse standard of Barnsley's.
tshine Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 did anyone just watch his interview on the championship. He said Tags is too young for the job. nice one Burrows, i bet Tags ill thank him for that
stez Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 did anyone just watch his interview on the championship. He said Tags is too young for the job. nice one Burrows, i bet Tags ill thank him for that i think they cut the bit where he said "frank burrows is the perfect age for the job"

Nor any delusion about the poor standard of our football and far worse standard of Barnsley's. I'd like to apologise for my abusive outburst last night - I think I may have had a few too many drinks. I shouldn't be unleashed on the forum in that state. The point remains though - I don't care how we win. Of course it would be preferable to hammer a team 6-0, but we should be happy with just getting a win, especially in our case.
foxer Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 did anyone just watch his interview on the championship. But i really really dont want him. Taggs for me.
Molson Canadian Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 if i was milan i would only consider him if he shaves the moustache first
stez Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 if i was milan i would only consider him if he shaves the moustache first if i was milan i'd have it in his contract that he must never, under any circumstances, shave his 'tache and mini-beard combo off.
Free Falling Foxes Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 You know, whilst watching that interview with him on the championship, I could imagine him on MOTD in a couple of years time describing how he masterminded the beating of Man U at Old Trafford that afternoon. Reminding the interviewer that he shouldn't be suprised as we had already taken 4 points from Arsenal & Chelsea earlier that season & dumped Liverpool out the cup! The entire squad had also grown facial hair too, to honour his influence & false moustaches & flat caps are on sale outside the ground. I hope that was a premonition. FFF Btw, I already have a 'tache. When's the rest going to catch-up. We are the future!!
ronnup Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 if i was milan i would only consider him if he shaves the moustache first are you mad? I'd write it into his contractt hat he can't shave it. No-one scares me more than scottish people and Northern Irish people. Give him the job with Tags. We'll scare em into caring about the team.
FilboFox Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 NO. I do not want an old, over the hill man in charge of a club with ambition and the determination to move forward! Will he really be able to create the passion required in the team???

Will he really be able to create the passion required in the team??? Surely if he's got ambition and determination to move forward he should be up to creating a bit of passion?
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 if i was milan i'd have it in his contract that he must never, under any circumstances, shave his 'tache and mini-beard combo off. Agree I'd support him. He is a Megsonite without being Megson, and has done some good things in the past. We'll see how he goes in the immediate future. Unlike what others have expressed, I think there was some promise in Megson. So for me that distinguishes Burrows from Kelly, who was a Leveinite with Levein being a tosser of the highest order, tactically speaking.

jonw88 Posted 29 October 2007 Posted 29 October 2007 fine i say we get a clause in his contract that says if he does NOT get us promoted he will get a public shaving of his moustache He looks like he's just walked off the set of Only Fools N Horses... NO THANKS!
Monk Posted 29 October 2007 Posted 29 October 2007 I'd prefer if his name was trevor. Oh well. Can't have everything can you... See how we get on on Wednesday and at Colchester. If we don't get stuffed and pull a result in essex (no pun intended) then he can have the job w/Jerry as far as I'm concerned
