leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 ...That report from the YEP is bollocks. The worst trouble was inside the ground when we went 4-0 up, the Millwall fans tried getting to the Leeds fans, the police tried stopping them and had a rough time- they were out-numbered. Police were getting pushed down the stairs, pushed to the floor getting the shit kicked out of them. The Millwall fans were throwing police helmets into the Leeds fans etc. Luckily it calmed down when Millwall scored, otherwise it could have been serious. They're all on CCTV though, so they'll be caught and rudely awoken at 6 in the morning by the police sometime soon. Outside ER afterwards the police went OTT- charging family's on police horses etc. That just made things worse. WYP need to ask themselves some questions about how they handle the likes of Millwall, Cardiff etc, as it's not the first time they've made a balls-up of it. Some of their officers seem to like battoning innocent fans on a Saturday afternoon- ****s.

leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 ... yourselves? Leeds fans are capable of behaving for when most teams come to ER- a lot of fans can mingle with Leeds fans and will actually find we are generally a pleasant bunch- as a lot have fans have commented this season. However, if you come looking for trouble you will find it, and you'll get a reaction. What do you think the chav-scum thinks when they see Millwall kicking their bus windows through and throwing seats out outside ER?
Hullfox Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 Leeds fans are capable of behaving for when most teams come to ER- a lot of fans can mingle with Leeds fans and will actually find we are generally a pleasant bunch. That sir will take some convincing for many on here.

leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 That sir will take some convincing for many on here. I can assure you that at most Leeds games away fans get no trouble from Leeds fans unless they provoke the Leeds fans or go looking for it. Perhaps singing about Galatasaray was the provocation that got many on here into trouble? I'm fairly sure that I've been to more Leeds games than you have and I can tell you that there is rarely trouble involving innocent supporters. If the away supporters behave sensibly, then there is no trouble.

leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 Anyway, do any of your Leeds fans like W*se? Some are warming to him. They seem to have short memories. They hated him over the summer, but as soon as we started winning- he became the best thing since sliced bread. He's yet to convince me that he knows what he's doing and he made a complete hash of some things towards the end of the last season. He's also letting personal feuds with one of our better players (Derry) get in the way of the teams perfomance which I think is silly. 'Chelsea scum', gets sung every game still, so it's a mix of feelings towards him really.
leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 Depends on your definition of 'innocent'. As bad as singing about Galatasaray is it doesn't justify a violent response! My definition of innocent would be not actively seeking trouble or doing anything that you know will get you in trouble. No it doesn't I agree, but those responsible must have known that Leeds have a minority of idiots who need the slightest excuse- and are therefore guilty of stupidity if anything.

Glad to see you agree and yes we all have idiots supporters but there is a core of fans that are not just idiots they are violent thugs and don't need any excuse. By reputation, at least Millwall and Leeds seem to have more than their fair share of them

By reputation, at least Millwall and Leeds seem to have more than their fair share of them Again, I agree, I very much doubt that those Millwall supporters who trashed their buses/attacked the police yesterday came for a bit of friendly banter and to watch the football. They brought around 800 fans and caused chaos. We'll be taking around 4000 to Carlisle next week and I'm pretty sure I won't see any trouble caused by Leeds fans. That's what I'm trying to say- our reputation is far worse than what we are. But, people don't seem to realise our reputation is generally scare-mongering by the media- a local paper in Southend last season predicted 5000 ticketless Leeds fans destroying the town centre last season , obviously it didn't happen. As I said earlier a lot of fans have come to ER this season and have been pleasantly surprised that we aren't the bunch of savages who attack women and children that they percieved. Most supporters can come to ER, have a walk around the ground, use the amenities, get some food etc without Leeds fans batting an eyelid.
Tevez Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 If i got the managers job for Millwall which i applied for, none of this shit would of happened and we would of beat Leeds 3-0. Fact.

Across three seasons I went to at least 20 games at Elland Road as a neutral and I would have to say that your blinkered view is a shame, I fear you cannot see the wood for the trees. Too many of your supporters are twats and cannot contain themselves. They think they are special and I suppose they are but only in the yellow bus window licking sense. They do the real fans no favours at all. Shame it took Division Three football for you to start winning games.
Simi Posted 28 October 2007 Author Posted 28 October 2007 I can't wait to see Wise exposed as a manager when Poyet goes to Spurs.

I've already said we have a minority of idiots, as every club has- *news flash* even Leicester Would you like to expand on that? Surely if they can't contain themselves, then there would be carnage at every game, not just when Millwall come to town looking for a scrap?
leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 I can't wait to see Wise exposed as a manager when Poyet goes to Spurs. I bet you can't. You seem more interested in having a go at Leeds than getting behind Leicester- and that's what keep us Leeds fans going- we love it- supporters of clubs that are so pathetic they need to constantly slag another club off to keep themselves happy
Koke Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 I bet you can't. Other than that, I hope Leeds get back up again at first attempt.

I don't hate him at all for getting Leeds relegated.
purpleronnie Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 Been to leeds a few times never had any problems. Seems that any incident that happens nowadays everyone over reacts, yes there was trouble so bloody what, dosen't mean every millwall fan or leeds fan are hooligans. People seem to be much more pampered these days - ooooh he shouted a naughty word I'll report him to the police...get a life!!!
leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 You do realize Wise has a rather unpleasent history at Leicester. Other than that, I hope Leeds get back up again at first attempt. I do indeed. ...You can't say that! That ruins the whole 'Leeds against the world', mentality! Hate us damn you! ...On that note, I've noticed the Journo's are jumping back on the bandwagon now we're winning again The Times is predicting us to have won the league by Easter

leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 Ermm I think it's actually you who is on our forum mate. So? 20 odd posts is hardly a lot is it. I came on here originally to pick holes at your 'Are we not allowed to slag Leeds...' thread, after we'd proved every ****er wrong by going undefeated for 13 games. Now I'm just trying to inform you so you don't believe some of the ridiculous stereotypes about Leeds fans and ER in general. It's also slightly entertaining and amusing with some of the stuff your lot spout.
Hullfox Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 So? 20 odd posts is hardly a lot is it. Indeed it isn't a lot but it is still too many.
leedslad Posted 28 October 2007 Posted 28 October 2007 Indeed it isn't a lot but it is still too many. Diddums. There are PNE and various other fans on a Leeds board I know with in excess of 1000, so think yourselves lucky
