I bet during the course of the season they'll show that classic own goal couple of years ago by I can't remember who it was and Alan Hansen and Gary Lineker will laugh their bollocks off. They do that every season.

Was it the Strachan own goal for Leeds? He sorta controlled it with his foot into the net... a lovely little turn on the line, pretty much.

I know they've shown that one on MOTD before.

Nah, its that non-league side (I think) where the lad tried to clear the ball but instead he fires it in the top corner of his goal. Keeper had no chance.

i'm ashamed to say that the FA cup very very rarely excites me. I'm a sucker for the fancy packaging of the prem and always look forward to a usual weekend of league footy over FA cup (and Internationals - especially given England over the last few years).

Yeovil were terrible from what i saw

A run in this competition is pretty much the only thing to look forward to this season..

Oh yeah we'll play well in this, especially if we're draw to some big teams, the players will actually play for us and perform if that's the case. :@

Cant knock the fa cup, one of my life time goals is to watch every round of the fa cup.

Some quality grounds in the 1st round, still cant believe chasetown took 1500 to Bath? Whats all that about and they won! Unfortunately i can see Oxford beating Southend in the next round even if they are dire at the moment.

The magic of the cup...Giant killers...Minnows...The big guns...Now they can concentrate on the league...Ronnie Radford...Yeovil Town...Tony Gubba...64 balls in the cloth bag...live from FA headquarters...draw the first home team please, Martin?

Marvellous.

Oxford seem to have improved since Jim Smith was moved upstairs.

And I see Eddie Anaclet (Eric Odhiambo's brother) scored for them at the weekend.

It looks that way, unfortunately for them the fans have dissapeard. Last seasons play off looked nearly a sell out, but lately i dont think quarter of the ground has been full.
