Lineker's Left Foot Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Dear god, I hope this is true. He will spicen things up around here. Steve Marlet anyone?.... Wouldn't mind Marlet tbh.. he'd annihalate defences in The Championship
David O'Leary Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Milan, please make it happen.......... Martin who?
coale39 Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 So we're going from flat caps and dodgy taches to the toothpick biting cool Frenchman. Could potentially be the appointment we have been looking for and would arouse the attention of a lot of very sleepy Leicester fans as its something a bit different to what we have had before. Out of curiosity, would he be the first foreign Leicester manager? Levein was Scottish....
mitchofox Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 I'd be so chuffed if we got Tigana, I think he'd do a fine job to be honest.Fingers crossed. Everything crossed after the shit thats been banded around
C-man Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Out of curiosity, would he be the first foreign Leicester manager? He would be. We've only had managers from Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Ireland.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Ooh controversial! To be even more controversial, Frank O'Farrell was Irish.
Toby or not Toby Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 i had a text from a mate saying it was on leicester sound that he had agreed to sign?
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 He would be.We've only had managers from Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Ireland. Apparently, people from the Republic of Ireland aren't foreign.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 i had a text from a mate saying it was on leicester sound that he had agreed to sign? That's where I heard it
foxchop Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Gordon Milne left us to win 3 league trophies with Besiktas, he was also director of football briefly their while Tigana was in charge.
GO GADGET GO Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Chelve if this is true and it all happens i will happily be your slave for a week! I will have his babies
C-man Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Chelve if this is true and it all happens i will happily be your slave for a week! Equally, if he's wrong, i'll papier mache his balls and get Carl Cort to stumble on them. Apparently, people from the Republic of Ireland aren't foreign. Course they aren't.
Rocky Dennis Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Hope this is true. Got a good feeling about this guy, hopefully he can attract some quality signings?
Cheese Me Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Hope this is true. If so it will easily be the most exciting thing to happen in years (along with Milan taking us over obviously). Not sure I can bear the tensio until Friday
Polyphonic Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Might be able to add fuel to the fire on this rumour... Just been in London today doing a bit of xmas shopping, sight seeing etc, (anyhoo you are not interested in that ...) When I arrived back to St Pancras station to catch the train back from London about 7.30 tonight, marching pretty quickly past me was Frank Burrows (silly flat cap and what looked worryingly like an inspector Clouseau style rain mac ..) , who was quickly bundled in a car waiting outside. Could he be meeting Tigana in London tonight, or is he just doing some scouting ??
mickydeeeuk Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 hi all! ive never posted here before so be gentle with me! im a big city fan (and unfortunately of late, season ticket holder ) so i figure this as good a place as any to lose my (message board) cherry! My opinion is that i think Tigana would make a great manager for us, and IMO would attract a higher class of player than the other candidates being banded about. (i'm sure all this has been said, but what the hell!) .......so as far as im concerned i bloody hope its him. cheers!!

Or maybe just shopping like you
