Chelve84 Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Don't know wether you remember (Academy Scout) but i posted some information about Tigana last week that he was meeting MM on friday, but it wasn't in Leicester, unfortunatley tho the forum crashed and that thread was deleted. I now have more information, After the meeting on friday with MM, he was apprentley going back to france to speak to his family about managing Leicester, and was going to give MM a answer by wednesday. No personal terms have been discussed, but have been told that he has accepted the challenge of the Leicester Position and will be discussing personal terms on fri with an advisor of the club and Milan will be coming back monday to make sure everything is signed and done. Thats all i know at minute, ill let you know if i find anything else out.
FilboFox Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Fantastic! He's miles better than any other names being chucked around!
James. Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Holy shit. Do I believe this? How confident are you Chelve? You don't sound like a ash17lcfc type willy puller. Holy shit.
Chelve84 Posted 13 November 2007 Author Posted 13 November 2007 Thats what i have been told and that whole meeeting with Tigana and Milan was right last week, so i dont see why this info isn't true mate
Koke Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Thats what i have been told and that whole meeeting with Tigana and Milan was right last week, so i dont see why this info isn't true mate How confident are you that he'll be appointed?
Hullfox Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Thats what i have been told and that whole meeeting with Tigana and Milan was right last week, so i dont see why this info isn't true mate You're positive it wasn't Stefan Cotterill?
Matt Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 I'm not saying it's not true or anything, because this one I really want to believe...I hope i'm right to, not just building up hopes, but you'd think Milan would want it sorted asap, and as I was saying to put doubt against Ash17LCFC (Or whatever his name is) you'd think if this was true Milan would be back of his holiday (Maybe not even bother going on holiday) to sort personal terms, get them out of the way then Tigana could get onto the training pitch and have a whole 2 weeks with the players before the first match, instead of wasting more time and cutting his time with the players down to 1 week, e.t.c
Tommeh Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Trying not to get too excited by this but it would be an excellent appointment. The best guy we can get in my opinion.
Chelve84 Posted 13 November 2007 Author Posted 13 November 2007 How confident are you that he'll be appointed? Very Confident.
Maybes Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 You're positive it wasn't Stefan Cotterill? Dear god, I hope this is true. He will spicen things up around here. Steve Marlet anyone?....
James. Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Can we stone you in public if you're wrong? And I'm talking rocks, not spliffs yeah.
Webbo Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 I've just spoke to someone who reckons it's been on radio Leicester.
Maybes Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Very Confident. If this goes through you should be classed as a hero on this forum. A bearer of great news!
lcfc_jme Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Holy shit.Do I believe this? How confident are you Chelve? You don't sound like a ash17lcfc type willy puller. Holy shit. Chelve is apparently a reliable source. He spoke of the meeting in London before it was reported the next day in the Mercury. Fairly content at the minute with this news. CHELVE - ANY CHANCE YOU'RE GOING TO WATCH ME PLAY OR OFFER ME A TRIAL ANY TIME SOON?!?!?
Chelve84 Posted 13 November 2007 Author Posted 13 November 2007 I'm not saying it's not true or anything, because this one I really want to believe...I hope i'm right to, not just building up hopes, but you'd think Milan would want it sorted asap, and as I was saying to put doubt against Ash17LCFC (Or whatever his name is) you'd think if this was true Milan would be back of his holiday (Maybe not even bother going on holiday) to sort personal terms, get them out of the way then Tigana could get onto the training pitch and have a whole 2 weeks with the players before the first match, instead of wasting more time and cutting his time with the players down to 1 week, e.t.c I think your right in what you are saying mate, but some things aint that simple and MM has a lot of people in leicester doing the background work and its only a phone call away to sort terms of contract out.
Koke Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 If this goes through you should be classed as a hero on this forum. A bearer of great news! He should get one of the suites at the Walkers' named after him surely.

mat_j101 Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 If its true, im happy to see how it goes. He wasnt the first name on my list, but hes an experienced manager who has managed in England, so not too bad!
Maybes Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 He should get one of the suites at the Walkers' named after him surely. The chelving suite
MC Prussian Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 What a few rumours can do to people. Darn, we're desperate for good news... Tigana would be a very good choice. Question is, how well could he fare with the current squad? Or would he last just another 3, 4, 5 games?
James. Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 Ric Flair is going to be bashing them out left right and centre when he sees this.
FilboFox Posted 13 November 2007 Posted 13 November 2007 The chelving suite The Chelve Stand! Lets have a stand named after him!
