we have 12 games and we need 2 wins and 3 draws. Thats easy it sounds. Not on current form

lol, you honestly think that you will not get 9 pts from 12 games

2 - 3 wins to the rest of the season? easy. sorry but wallowing in pity isn't going to make you a shite team overnight. Any other day you could have had 4.. You may be a bit inconsistant but try telling me there are not 3 worse teams than you in the division, sorry but it doesn't wash.

Well we've only won 2 out of the last 12 league games, and most of them seem to have been away from home where we play better! Why should that not continue? :ermm:

I have posted this on TB as well, it adequately sums up how I feel...

I haven't said anything about this until now, and I haven't even checked the forum because, firstly I was gutted, and secondly I knew the response would just be a negative witch hunt.

We are in a relegation dog fight, and I agree wholeheartedly with MB that the only way out is to get a/some strikers...The only trouble is that strikers that score goals are hard to find because they tend to already have a job scoring for someone else. Strikers that are shite are ten a penny...I can't see who we are going to get, and that is worrying because we are only 4 points away from the unthinkable.

On another more positive note, we were the better team on Saturday, and once again I thought we were in a footballing sense better than we have been in a long time. Forest must have only had about 10% of the pocession. The only trouble was that chance after chance went begging and we really lack a goalscorer.

This is the most worried I have ever been as a supporter of this club and I feel truely alone. I wanted to turn to this forum for the solidarity and spirit of my fellow sufferers but I knew that I would find little sense in looking here (until now that is), because i knew it would be doom and gloom. Instead of sitting around complaining about how your little part of the world isn't working, and that the stadium is shite...do something to change it!!!

Over the months I've been to see the chairman, suggested improvements, tried to sing and chant, but a sad fact is that most would rather boo, and shout abuse at our own players. The trouble with half of you people is that you don't believe in anything, or gave up believing a long time ago. Where is your passion and pride? When we are trailing by a goal why are you already beaten? Perhaps we would have not scored yesterday in 180 minutes let alone 90, but none the less we still owe our support. Otherwise what is the point in it all?

I'm bitterly dissapointed, and I can't contain my fears...but instead of burying our heads lets stand up tall and face it like men (women too), because that's all we as supporters can do...SUPPORT!

'Oh the fans aren't very good', 'oh the stadium is poor', oh the manager is crap', 'david connolly is Ade Akinbyi(or however you spell it)'...Grow up and support something, Commit to your club instead of embracing it only when they succeed. You can't just embrace it with one hand and brush it away with the other when it suits you.

Good luck Craig and the boys, I KNOW you won't fail us.

well said silver

lets face it we aint going to go up or get in the play-offs we might aswell have something to play for , were in the last eight of the cup for gods sake it aint all that bad.

yes saturday was poor but still showed a bit of promise from the way we played, i dont here anymore of the hoofing bollox from the forest fans, we played better footy than them.

we aint going down we need to identify who's the best squad for next season.

and if we do need points going to plymouth on the last day then what a party it will be

Silverfox, Dane and Petrescu have all raised good points, that sum up my feelings.

The atmosphere is crap, but only the fans can change it.

I was thinking about how Derby (and Ipswich for a time, if I remember correctly) struggled last season, and now look like strong contenders for promotion, although I suspect via the play-offs.

As for a Forest fan having to point out that we were the better team, and were unlucky not to score, this is shocking. Let's look to the next game, instead of dwelling on the 'what ifs' of the previous one.

I'm concerned over our position, yes, but I'm not panicking.....yet.

We are in a dire situation now there is no getting away from that, but getting all negative is not going to solve anything.

We have a fantastic manager in Craig Levein, okay he isn't flawless but nobody is. We also have a good squad with some excellent players at this level. I would sooner be struggling to score than conceeding too many goals, the goals will come eventually.

We have more chance of getting relegated if all the fans start getting grumpy and start to moan.

Saturday was the first time that I really thought 'oh shit!' I don't know if i've been incredibly stupid, but up until a couple of weeks ago play-offs was still a fair prediction.

Saturday was a wake up call, but let's not panick. There are plenty of positives to still hang on to before we throw the towel in yet. Remember last season? We were hanging on to everything we could until it was too late. That win at Brum was the start of a revolution and all that.

We are in a weird situation and you could argue it both ways. I personally think Levein is a fantastic manager and i'm sticking by him until the end. I am over the moon that he is laying down foundations at this club and although it's not instantly producing the goods i'm still eager to see him continue to go about his business in the fashion he is doing.

I am speechless as to how many chances we are creating and it's been like that all season. We've either defended badly and lost games or not been able to score and drawn or lost but played teams off the park so to speak. It angers me, I hated it when we were playing truely woeful under Adams and I made the statement i'd rather us lose but play well. This feels worse though I think as I feel robbed and embarassed.

Rome wasn't built in a day though and Derby are a perfect example of the situation we have found ourselves in. Now's the time we will really see what Levein is all about, under pressure can he produce the minerals.

Look at our squad on paper and it's almost embarassing where we are, but it happens in football. Nobody is truely on form at the minute other than Williams and even he sometimes falls short when you need him the most.

Walker - Playing steady, but when does he pull off that breath taking save when you need him to?

Maybury - Looked good at first, but needs to step up a gear. Seems to me that he thrives on confidence and in a team that's really undre-achieveing he isn't at his best.

Dabizas - Got carried in a relatively good team at Newcastle. Has a habit of letting you down when you need him most.

Heath - It's not about form with Heath, he's never been any good.

Tiatto - Not been at his best for a few months, infact the last time I thought he was good in a league game was Coventry in Levein's first home game for us.

Stewart - Was awesome under Levein at first, but slowly getting worse as times goes by. Typical Stewart.

Williams - Our most talented first team player, but his style of play doesn't always suit our game play which means he can't play to his maximum unless we're on top of our game. Shame really.

Nalis - Was quality up until xmas, been in and out of the team since and been quite poor.

Gillespie - Alot better than most, but still lacking that finesse. When you need a touch of class when things aren't going right, he's never there for you.

Gudjonsson - Not good enough to make an impact when we need to graft for points, getting better but if this is him on top of his game then heaven help us.

Hughes - I like this lad, Levein claims he's unfit but he might have the key to unlock the safe.

Connolly - I've stuck up for Dave for months and months and he epitimises the situation we are in. He's out of sorts, has been for a long while and i'm clueless what we can do to get him to pick his game up. I'll guarantee though that if he leaves us, he'll find his form again. They always do.

De Vries - Out of form big time, same as Connolly. Although a goal might trigger MDV off where as Connolly smoulders even with a goal.

Not looking that good is it? Monday aswell, please let's see a new striker.

Stefan Moore or Kuqi from Brum on loan please. Infact why not give Dodds a go? He's scored about 10 goals in his last 5 or 6 games for the reserves and youth teams.

All the best Craig, you'll need it but I believe in you.
