Half time cross bar challenge (u try it)

During Half time of yesterdays game there was a challenge to hit the cross bar from the 18 yard box and if successful in doing so u would earn 50 quid for the Birch and his chosen charity. Involved were Kasabien, muzzy Izzit, peter Beale, M.O.D bloke and Birch himself. This happened for most of the half time interval and between them they only hit it 4 times from proberbly 50-60 efforts.

I have just got back from football training myself and after 5 attempts hit it 4 times, im a central defender of no real talent but feel happier than ever as i for a moment have beaten one of citys greats Muzzy Izzit.

I encourage us all to go and try it and see how many times we can do it out of 5, i will donating some money to the charity as a way of thanks to the Birch and the entertainent enjoyed.

I have serious limitations in my game but I can chip a ball quite well, and I do normally pretty well at the cross bar challenge at anything shorter than 30 yards. Compared to the average bloke that is, not Muzzy Izzet.

50 - 60 attempts :| I don't think so

Anyway, yeah it'd be cool if you donated money to Birch's charity

Ps. "One of citys greats" is Muzzy Izzet

I think he means 50 or 60 attempts between all of them, i.e Kasabian, Muz, Beale...

I can do it too, its not that hard, a couple of months ago i texed into the moan in to Birch to challenge him because i have never seen a woman on there doing the cross bar challenge and i think i could do better than most blokes he has on there...but as yet he has not come to get me from E3 at half time!!!!.....having said that, it may be different infront of 20+ thousand people!!!!

I love doing the cross bar challenge. Always have a go from 18 yards at the start of training. Usually manage about 1 in 10.
