lavrentis Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Hello, I am a young Leicester fan and have only experienced 6 games at the walkers. My first game was out in the family stand, this was O.K but I cannot remember, next game was in the same area, next I was high up in the corner at the south stand I did not enjoy this at all. For the next game I was sat in the kop (E2) right behind the goal. The next game I am planning to go to is WBA on the 8th Dec, I am going with my dad. Please may you recommend me a seat from your experiences.. preferably I like to be lower down In the stands as I feel in the action. What do you think is the best seat in the Walkers? Thanks, Laurence

Thanks, Laurence Ello Laurence. Nice to see new faces still going to The Walkers. I reckon your best bet is still The Kop. If you want to relax and get a quick nip then goto the Wing stands. If you want to hurl abuse at away fans i'd have said L1,but its only Season Ticket holders. Family Stand is Ok,if your with your Dad but next time go lower down.
lavrentis Posted 3 December 2007 Author Posted 3 December 2007 Thanks, for the prompt reply's, the kop has been my favourite place but I don't know If I am missing out anywhere else because knowing my luck if I go and sit somewhere In the east stand..Leicester will go and score in the kop. (Plese don't wish me to sit in the east stand now ) . My last experience of E2 though was crossbar all game, but that was the Burnley game. I think though either E3 or E1 would be cool for me. Thanks, Laurence

Thanks, Laurence I would go for K block around rown N. you get to sit and laugh at the away fans, laugh even more at how the city fans mock the away fans and its pretty close to the pitch so you get a good veiw, yet not too close that you cant see the far corner properly, ect. Its close to where i usually sit

danny. Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 We sit in B1 just next to the players' tunnel, the atmosphere is nothing to rave about but the view of the pitch is really good. Not sure if it's season tickets only or not tho'...
The Stig Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Hahaha!! Thanks for that link.. he seems a right character. What is he on.. 10 pints a day? Thanks, Laurence Bernie came upto me on Saturday welcoming me to the Walkers (like I've never been before!) and reminding me we have Southampton, he also thought their manager was Harry Redknapp! Bess him what a hero!
SamL Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 If you're looking for atmosphere then the E blocks and F1 in the Kop or K1 are the place to be because L1 is season ticket holders only. I've never sat on the half way line at the Walkers (Blocks B and J) but i'm told this is a pretty good view. Enjoy the game, hopefully we get a much needed win.
lavrentis Posted 3 December 2007 Author Posted 3 December 2007 Hi guys, thanks for the replies. I just got the tickets on Row A on E1, does anyone have any experiences of this please. Thanks Alot Laurence
