I'm sure Titus Brambles got a lovely warm personality but it doesn't mean hes any less of a turd on the pitch. Why don't they just call it sports person of the year? Glad Calzaghe won it though

Driven and determined, yes... some people will see that as cocky and arrogant but he is FAR from being that!As for Calzaghe... I don't see why he has such a great personality... sure, he's a nice person, but how is he different from any other chump that is nice? I am not going to sit here and say that Calzaghe didn't deserve it, as he was one of the people who did for having a good personality, but just because he became the undisputed champion shouldn't be the only reason for his win. Well done Calzaghe... but I still think that Lewis should have won... its just my opinion! Driven and Determinded? He fooked up when it was easier to use that drive and determination to win. He's had millions spent on him, time maken for him and given special training he's been fast tracked into the sport and not really made to work for anything. Sure maybe he's a nice guy but he's not won anything yet. Calzaghe has been champion for 10 years, while Mr. Hamilton bottled it and came second place. You make no sense in your arguement, Undisputed champion over a second placed bottler? The right person won.

I think Calzaghe deserved to win, but Hamilton would have won the F1 title if his gearbox hadn't broke in Brazil
Simi Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 I found the Bobby Robson award very emotional. A truly well deserved award for someone that has achieved so much in football. It's clear to see he still has a passion for the game and it's nice to see it recognised. Stay healthy Bobby.
