Nod.E Posted 6 December 2007 Author Posted 6 December 2007 Most young lads only come to the football these days because they've seen Green Street. Not me. I've never seen it. Infact what is it? Everyone goes ranting about it and i'm sat their not having a clue what they're talking about. Not untill you just said that i knew it had any reference to football what so ever.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 6 December 2007 Posted 6 December 2007 I went to my first Leicester game when i was 5 and i'm 18 now. I remember Filbert St very well and can't beleive how much i miss it now. Like losing a member of my family. You could tell at the last ever game just how much that place meant to people. People grew up going down including me and i we thought it be there forever. When we moved i was kinda happy but now i wish we never had moved. Filbert St was great and the Kop was always loud and was so close to the pitch. I remember the day when Seaman came with his ponytail. The things being said was great and Seaman was laughing his head off. He even clapped the kop after the game. The walkers will never be anything like Filbert St and its such a shame we moved.
SamL Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Most young lads only come to the football these days because they've seen Green Street. Yeah i'd agree with that. Some of the people that I go to games with have watched it but they go for the entertainment value not to kick the crap out of someone. A bit like me, I go to games to have a laugh and to sing a few songs. But this is a very true statement Dames.

It's a below par film about football firms. Starring two actors whos most famous roles were as a Hobbit and the lead in Queer as folk. Intimidating.

Intimidating. I thought it was an ok film, very Americanised though ... The Hobbit comes over here as a bit of a nerd and by the end of the Film he is pretty much taking over the firm of West Ham along with a Geordie who has a very bad cockney accent!!!
