The most annoying chant. EVER

Recommended Posts

The most annoying chant is "We hate Nottingham" at every single game. Fair enough if we're playing Forest, but deary me, this gets on my tits.

That is exactly the reason why i moved away from the kop.

People who sit in there make out its the greatest and and call you a chav if your in L1 but in fact why don't they sing themselves?

They don't sit in the kop its the south stand! The kop died when we left filbo fact, the south stand is full of oldies on their hands.

I sat in L1 a few times last season and i'd say the minority are chavs. It's annoying that people stereotype. For example, some people think that if you sit in L1 you're a chav or if you stand and sing you're a wannabe hooligan.

The Kop is poor. Fact.

We will never return to the days of Filbo, all we can do is make do with what we've got and try to improve it.

The atmosphere at the Walkers is never going to be great but we can at least try and make it as good as it can be.

K1's where it's at. Close to chaviness but not quite fully-fledged. We're only mildly hooligan-esque in there!:whistle:

The thing is that you have your hardcore few who consitantly try to get songs going but the majority don't join in. When we sing together the atmospohere is good. unfortuneately we have lost the collective that was the kop as seating is there now and the older members have "infested" that area with their quiet.

This has led to many moving like me.

These are not the only thigs also ticket prices have risen which has made the lower class become priced out therefore making the football more of a white collar day out rather than the traditional blue colar working class society which was the traditional majority of support.

IMHO richer people don't wish to create a sciene at the footer unlike our lower class members of society.

You with the old man? If not, come up with us. Loads of space.

Tempting, to be honest, and I think if I'm still here for next season (and not jetting off back to uni) I'll certainly be looking to get a season ticket in the Kop (likely with ye lot if you do it again next season.) For what's left of this year I'll likely be with the old man, aye, I don't otherwise really spend time with him and it's the only time we really get along properly, so.

Once I get a job sorted, though, I want to be hitting the away games as next priority. So there'll be plenty of Finners to go round there.

oh yeah hows my battered pepsi board at the back of E3?

Even more battered. I think the good old E3 sign is also on it's last legs...

Pffffft, you should hear the "chants" at a Tigers match. The monotonous drone of "Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers! Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers!" can seriously do your head in.

Oh, and if you do try and adapt footie chants to rugger you get the most appalling glares

"Cheat, fell over!" recieves especial scorn for some reason :giggle:

S'cos English rugby fans are the most boring fans ever. Go down to Stradey Park or the Arms next time Tigers are away in the Heineken / EDF. Right giggle, I promise.

Well, as long as you're not easily intimidated.

no course not  no because i do bang on the boards aswell when im right at the back but im not bothered about that its just when they kick my chair!

Ah but surely, a member of the standingbrigade like yourself, wouldnt care about the chair, as you dont sit on it :scarf:

does go with my theory that the middle classes do not wish to sing and create a fuss in public.

Doesn't help when there's no bastard else in your part of the ground, though, to be fair. <_<

lol mate but surely we have enough support to make some decent noise?! Ive seen a few Championship games where thousands less turn up but they still manage to make some noise unlike us, unless of course we are beating Watford 4-1 and people start to try and get involved.

Actually thats it, its simple. Go 4-1 up and then a few more get involved.

I have never once heard anybody in the kop tell somebody to stop signing, it must just be me though because it seems to happen to most people every game.

It annoys me hearing the same chant every 5 minutes, there is probably about 4 songs that we sing throughout the game. There are plenty of other songs that we can sing but no-one seems to start them.

Also, don't bang on the plastic at the back......

What is wrong with banging the plastic at the back? You're a muppet.

Where do you sit?

Nowhere near E3 obviously because we sing different songs and nobody joins in.

Don't complain about nobody starting songs because you could start them

To be fair mate, we tried to change this with Nblock but I believe you stayed in the 'kop'

I could be wrong, as I have a wank memory, but you get my point!

The watford game was wank. I sat with my old man about 3/4 of the way at the back of the 'kop' and if it hadn't of been for the result I would have walked out. Soo boring, the only time people became animated was when fcking Chelsea Dagger was played :frusty:

Why people get frustrated about people singing about forest, but not when they play chelsea dagger, is quite possibly too much for me to understand.

Right...

Agree about the, "we hate Nottingham" bull shine, let`s at least wait till we`re in the same bluddy division before we sing about the scum, samegoes for Derby and Leeds !

also the "get into em, fcuk em up" is a ple of carp, it`s sung even when we`ve got the sodding ball, and just for reference the players hate this one too !

Leicestershire la la la Cricket Maybe ???

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes, i agree... Better atmosphere was generated at Filbo. But I don't think creating an atmosphere in the Walkers cannot happen. Look at Birmingham last year, for example. It is possible, It just doesn't seem to happen.

I find nearly every chant tedious, dull and boring. Noticable "duh duh duh da duh, da da duh duh Leicester", truely thrilling.

The most annoying I have heard though was last Monday, Cardiff's "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" for 1o mins solid.

thats when they was wiggling their fingers lol:crylaugh:
