The most annoying chant. EVER

Recommended Posts

We hate Nottingham, We Hate Nottingham

I despise this song and most of the time it's the hooligan wannabes that start it.

Hooligan Wannabes lol

I find it rather odd if people don't know our songs like the words to when your smiling! :giggle:

Maybe, the thread title should be The Most Annoying Unfinished Chant. Ever

That pisses me off when a chant starts and finishes just as quick. Why don't people finish started songs?

'one phil Gee' has got to be the worst we've ever done though quite funny.

lets face it, our songs are shit and mostly always have been.

we don't even have an icon figure like Ali, OOH Tommy Wright, Walshie, Iwan...etc that we used to sing to before the games started

City is a struggling club and has been for a while, fans try not to get too attatched to players because over the last few years they were either shit or, if they were decent, they were sold.

sitting at football is shit and why people spend half (or more) of the game drinking inside the ground, texting  and eating is beyond me :@

also........can't people go 50mins without having a piss :@:@

ok i'm cool now

bring on those boring bastard Clarets :)

We have got a ground not built for atmosphere unfortunately. In the golden MON era I remember turning up to the kop standing there and singing every players name before kick off...

Englands No.1! Englands, Englands No.1!! That would gee up Flowers...

Then you'd have somethin like 'Matty, Matty Elliot'. Then on to the midfield, 'Theres only one Neil Lennon....', 'Oooh ah, Mustapha.....' and then you'd give some to 'Bruno, Bruno.....' and then 'Walking in a Cottee wonderland.....'

This would get everyone up for it in a big way, fans and players alike. Unfortunately this cannot and will not happen at the Walkers...

My dad goes on about that. Always used to do it. but now, we sing (occasionally) about the players who are above-average players, but for the below-average, its BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I hate people that go to games just to sing and not actually go for the football. Mainly the chavs in L1. After the Blackpool game I walked past a huddle of them, must have been about 20 of them with their caps and trakkies on trying to start on fully grown men, blackpool fans.

Ended up getting a bit of a kicking before the police stepped in.

'C'mon lads were lesta boyys' <- get a fu ckin life!!

To be honest the atmosphere is sort of a reason why i like football so much.

Although ours is shit.

And you cant call me a chav, i own a pair of jeans.

the problem with stating your opinion is that sometimes people will disagree with you.

above i think your post is thoughtless or just daft. I stand in L1 and sing and watch a game and i manage this without starting fights with anyone. I am no superhero just a passionate Leicester fan.

Try to think before tarring with large brushes next time tommy or you will give Tom's a bad name and no Tom wants that do they!

Without doubt the most annoying for me is when people sing "I've never felt more like singing the blues, when Leicester win and Forest lose, oh Leicester etc." when a) we're not winning and b) Forest are. The ****ing stupidity of some people just astounds me sometimes!

Yeah it's harder to create atmosphere at the Walkers but I think too many people use it as an excuse. There are clubs who have built modern stadia similar to ours, and yet produce really good atmospheres far superior to that at the Walkers. Sunderland and Hull for example (when I visited anyway) seemed to be able to make a real racket in their bowls.

I hardly ever hear that sung. Maybe on the odd away trip, now and again. its like most songs though, it gets started, then unfinished, because quite a few people don't know it.

it would help before the game if they did not play music so loud as to start a song impossible

Firstly anyone can state their opinion, its what this forum is about..

Secondly your right, I wasn't claiming that 'everyone' who sits in L1 is a chav bla bla blaa, didnt mean to come across that way. But you can agree that theres a larger proportion there who go looking for that kinda stuff, compared to people that sit in the centre of the West Stand for example!!

Sounds generalistic but its true, sorry to tarnish you with the 'brush' kilworthFox, it wasn't meant to be like that

I hate people that go and sit down behind you (Forcing you to sit down) and anaylise the game all game long and just try and chat a load of technical shit. They don't sing or anything either.

agreed but there are a tiny percentage in that block who actually do as you say go looking for it!

Also the percentage would have been higher in the kop in its hey day. Unfortunately you may have to accept that some funny chants and atmosphere may come from types who still or once like a ruck at the match. This does not mean that all who sing are wannabe hooligans. far from it.

L1 is actually full of pussy-cats really, as it has a few who start songs, and a few more who will keep singing ,and i believe if most people saw who were in L1, you would be as surprised as i was to see who was in there. Familys and kids! yes kids. strange.

depends where you go.

go to L1 or the back of most areas of the ground and you won't have that problem.

Been there a couple of times yeh, pretty overated. The atmosphere is pretty shit all around the ground though to be fair.

I couldn't stand the caps and trakkies for a whole season im afraid, I do enjoy the away fans getting a bit over agressive and then get chucked out! Oh and a good laugh at a 16yr old lad who thinks he's 'ard and shouts abuse at the away fans the whole game then swiftly makes an exit at the end! I just like to go down and see a good game of footy mate, thats a rareity these days though!!

We could learn a lot from this lot. Ain't got a clue what they singing but the whole ground are doing it TOGETHER.

You would never get an atmosphere like that anywhere in England.

People are either too dumb, drunk or stuck up.

Sad really.
