Just doesn't work for me sorry.

Listened to the Everton game on MOTD and was disappointed to be honest.

Turn the sound off, why do you need a commentator to tell you what you're looking at, do you have one when you to matches, do you have one to tell you who the suspects are in a murder drama, do you have one to tell you when to laugh when watching a comedy? I'm guessing the answer's no.

I don't think turning the sound down is the answer

May have just been the commentator on tonight but honestly she was awful :frusty:

If it's the same one that's been on before, she's always awful.

i was going to post exactly the same thing :)

they dont belong in our game and theres no need for them, its just silly as we all saw what happened with mike newell i totally agreed with him and knew exactly how he was cheated out of a game due to some silly decision that only messes up our game... plus commentrary is darn annoying :frusty:

What female commentators need to boost their profession is a sort of Charlotte Green type person.

For those who have no idea who she is, Charlotte Green is a BBC Radio 4 announcer & newsreader who was voted "most attractive female voice on national radio" back in 2002. ;)

why do we care what their voice sounds like

Don't know about em generally but the one commentating on the Everton match just didn't convey the drama of the game at all.

It was as if she'd sat down after the game and read the commentary from a script.

It was woeful.

I'd bet a pound to a penny that she does it better than anyone on here could.

I love that comeback ... Its so pathetic. Like when somebody says ... Oh that Stearman played shite and someone turns round and says ... I bet you couldn't do better. How and why does that make any sence ? Is it our job ? That women was awful and made plenty of mistakes and was just pure painful in the end.

Get rid now !

Barry Davies now he was MINT.

You obviously weren't listening then. Seeing as none of us are likely to get a chance to commentate any time soon it's a bit of an empty bet.
