I'm 100% sure I could do better, that's exactly what I want to do for a career. Plus it's not anyone on here's job to do better, it is her's, so the people who she does her job for have a right to tell her she isn't doing it properly. I'm fine with the idea of women commentators but Jaqui Oatley, like John Barber is a bad commentator. Yes I did used to like Barber, but have gone of him this season.

In my opinion her voice didn't flow, she didn't demonstrate a knowledge of the game, she sounded nervous, not passionate enough and shouted too loudly when it wasn't necessary.

Head Honcho Posted 10 December 2007 Author Posted 10 December 2007 Again.. can somebody tell me why Jacqui Oatley was "crap" and "so bad"? a) Her commentary seems far too scripted-I actually doubt she does it in real time b) She is never up with pace of the game-she's only a micro second behind but to the educated amongst us It's very noticable! c) I don't hear the sort of passion in her voice that enables most good commentators to convey the match to the viewers-not suprisingly as she supports Wolves

She takes everything over the top when someone passes the ball she thinks it is something special the idiot. Also with this commentator it all seems to be stop start for some reason aswell. Fingers crossed The Championship doesnt get one!
