Darkzzz_ Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 hope im not working so i can get down there... i have not visited st marys yet!! but my boss is the biggest c*** in the world so i shall be so lucky!!
SamL Posted 2 January 2008 Author Posted 2 January 2008 I'm not planning on attending the tuesday night game due to travel issues so this is a good excuse to get down there once this season The Blue Army are out in force for this one, all 1300 of us What happened to the other 5300 that were at Chelsea ey?
Jack Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 1,300 is poor for the FA cup. I'll Deffo be there though.
Joe. Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 1,300 may seem poor but it's a trek to Southampton and we're playing shite at the moment. Does it really surprise people we're taking this amount?
SamL Posted 2 January 2008 Author Posted 2 January 2008 1,300 may seem poor but it's a trek to Southampton and we're playing shite at the moment.Does it really surprise people we're taking this amount? Indeed it's a trek to Southampton but you'd think people would still make the effort. We were playing shite when we played Forest, Villa and Chelsea and look how many we took there
Simi Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 1,300 may seem poor but it's a trek to Southampton and we're playing shite at the moment.Does it really surprise people we're taking this amount? Yes and no. Support should be judged when your team is playing shit. Safe to say we've found out that ours is fairly poor.
Sods Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Prices are fooking cheap as well, best anyone will get this season. Cant wait for the tuesday night game when we play them
Joe. Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Yes and no.Support should be judged when your team is playing shit. Safe to say we've found out that ours is fairly poor. Yeah you know what fans are like. Most don't want to know when the team's not performing, especially when it involves going to Southampton.
SamL Posted 2 January 2008 Author Posted 2 January 2008 Prices are fooking cheap as well, best anyone will get this season.Cant wait for the tuesday night game when we play them We're talking about how crap the attendance will be for this game, can't see us taking more than 300 there on the tuesday night. But i'm not really complaining because I doubt i'll be there myself.
Floating Fox Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 1,300 may seem poor but it's a trek to Southampton and we're playing shite at the moment.Does it really surprise people we're taking this amount? 1300 Is poor and yes we are playing shite but we should travel regardless (You wouldn't know about that though eh? ) It doesn't surprise me it just pisses me right off when fans spurt out this shite about us having great fans & us being a big club. It wouldn't bother me if we took 50, but if the club came out and called that good support....
Joe. Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 1300 Is poor and yes we are playing shite but we should travel regardless (You wouldn't know about that though eh? ) Oi...sssh. I went to more away games than you last season.
AoWW Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Can't go as I have a family thing going on that day. Just felt the need to justify my lack of attendance!
Bert Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 If I go it's only to see Bert - no other reason I think you should go
Tommeh Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I think you should go £24 on the train - not too keen 4 hours on fox travel - no way Being arsed to get down leicester station to book train - no Drive it - get lost Drive it - need people to go with, to cover fuel Drive it following you and Maybes sat nav and getting insane people to go with me - possibility
SamL Posted 3 January 2008 Author Posted 3 January 2008 Although having more fans at the game will look good from some points of view, a relatively small attendance means the atmosphere is likely to be better. The people who want to sing will go to the back like every game and those who don't want to stand will go to the front. Atleast it's 1300 people who go to most away games instead of the 6600 that went to Chelsea whose first game it was of the season. I hope that makes sense, i'm just trying to make a positive out of it.
Tevez Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 50/50 chance that i'm going. Make it happen Tshine, Tommeh and JBF.
LE8Blue Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I couldnt get a ticket for chealsea away in the league cup but im going southampton Should be good Hopefully henderson does not play
PAULCFC Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 What sort of time do you reckon we'll get to St Marys going by FT?
