Bluenose76 Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Bluenose76....You hit the nail on the head there... all joking aside Ollie was amazing at raising the profile of our club.. making it more attractive for players fropm other teams. I was very dissapointed when Ollie left but this was due to the fact that he was going to help out with some students that I had been working with. Everything was inplace and then he upped and left without any notice. Hopefully he will get the backing from your chairman as promised in order to turn things around for you guys. Thats very kind of you Paul. I admit I have never liked him as a person or a manager but we are stuck with him for now so what choice do I have but to try and support him? He has lost himself in his own hype, worse still he believes in his own hype, but there you go. Have to laugh, in his book he talks about not wanting to join Leicester. Wonder how he'll chat his way out of that one?
Vo Rogue Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Won't be long What two teams you planning to go and watch??

Two new coats, I know it's the sales but that's a bit extravagant you could spend some of it on a Match Day Ticket.......... err perhaps not - 2 coats it is then.
Leicester Lass Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Absolutely atrocious. Not one of those players can come out with any credit today, they were all fooking appalling.
The Reverend Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Bluenose76....You hit the nail on the head there... all joking aside Ollie was amazing at raising the profile of our club.. making it more attractive for players fropm other teams. Yes Paul, he needs the Chairmans backing, and with 3 defeats in a row, it wouldnt surprise me if Milan was getting itchy feet already..... But seriously Paul, its actually nice for a Plymouth fan to come on here and talk sense for once. It wasnt right how Holloway left you guys, and it was clear your lot liked him very much, but you have to move on... But i bet he's wishing he was back in Plymouth now!
Nath Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Just got back. Don't know how to describe us. All i can say is, when Hull fans chant "Your Not Very Good" it kind of sums it up. And then Leicester reply with "Were Not Very Good" sums it up even more. Right from the off you could see we was not going to get anything out of the game, and the worse thing is, Hull were atrocious. McAuley had his worst game in a Leicester shirt today, Folan got past him everytime, also beating him in every header. Kisnorbo, seemed out of the game, as if he wasnt actually there. Clemence, well if we had any other midfielder, this player would be droped, how the fook he got Birmingham's player of the season, i dont know. Hume, he hasn't been his usual self this season, 50% today effort from him, unlike his 110% from his usual game Fryatt, couldnt controll a remote control, slow, un involved Kaebi, this lad done nothing wrong today, made good runs, nice touches. He is just to lightweight, didn't deserve to be subbed. N'Gotty, could tell he hasn't started for a few weeks, the back 4 comunication was terrible. At fault for the secontoo, pissing about with it in the box. Mattock, same as all the back four. Made some runs, nothing came of any of them, kicked ball away in frusrtation late on in the second half to get himself booked. Sheehan, Same as kaebi, didn't deserved to be subbed, although this guy lacks awareness Subs: Stearman, i can not actually explain how bad this **** is, he had the ball 5 times? 4 of the times, he was on the bye line, and the ball went out every time! One scenario... had the ball, no one around him, played the lang ball, like always, and he kicked it out, in our own half, a complete miss kick. Embarassment to this club John, Nothing to do, when he did he looked promising, one chance comes to mind from him, nice run but hit it wide. Cort, Gave it his all, nice touches, winning the headers, moved and looked for space, he just needed service. Holloway, he really needs to sort this out. He also needs to analyse the team, subbing Hume for Stearman is the daftest decision made by a manager for atleast 10 years.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 It wasnt right how Holloway left you guys In what way was it "not right", Mandaric went through the proper channels, his approach was rejected but because Holloway was intent on coming here he resigned meaning all ties with PAFC were cut. Everything was above board and amicable. As he tells us he never lied, saying he "loved the city of Plymouth" doesn't translate to "I can't ever move on to a different club". If you were offered double salary and the opportunity to come to a buying club from a selling club you are not going to turn it down no matter how much you love the place you're leaving.
Tommeh Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Few points to make on this game: Fulop was poor. Hull's ground is appauling for atmosphere. N'Gotty was poor going forward. Hull's ground is very nice to look at from the outside. McAuley was very poor. His worst game in a city shirt imo. Hull is a fcking shithole. Kisnorbo was poor. Our journey was quick and decent. Mattock was poor. I was cold. Kaebi was poor. Most Leicester fans were cold. Clemence was poor but did show good commitment many times which was nice. We nearly got stuck in a lift in a Hull car park. King was extreemely poor. Hull is the imbred capital of Britain although plymouth is running it close judging by some dicks on this forum. Sheehan was poor. I left my beanie hat in the car. Big Mistake. Hume was poor. Why was stearman brought on for Hume???????????? Fryatt was poor. I had a bet on McAuley 1st goal and 2-1 city. Foolish. Our fans were poor Last 10 minutes were a good laugh. "who's the Slapper in the white?" "do you take it up the arse?" "how much on a satdee night?" "2 quid on a satdee night" City fans After 86 minutes: "Shot on target du du du du" Hull fans " you're not very good, you're not very good etc. SHIT Us " we're not very good, were not very good we're not very, we'[re not very, we're not very good....SHIT! Why do I bother??? Anyone going Wolves is a fecking lunatic At least I had Santa cruz in my dream team Worra day.
Simi Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Robbing c*nts. All of them. McAuley and Kisnorbo were fooking dreadful today. They give the ball away so many fooking times it's unreal. Put your foot on the ball and pick a pass. Don't hoof it to Fryatt. Not Hume. Nobody. Pass the fecking ball to one of our players on the floor. Jokers. N Gotty should no longer be at right back. Kaebi wonders around the pitch aimlessly. Sheehan and Mattock can't work together. I could go on for days. The main thing that pisses me off is that we want to rush everything we do and hoof it. Instead of retaining possession and playing it along the floor, we'll go route one.

For Christs sake how many times It was all done through the proper channels blah blah blah, but it was'nt 'morally' right to the Plymouth fans - saying such things and then fooking off. Oh and on a side not about Micky Adams, who signed these pensioners on big money? Micky Adams! And as for getting us back up, i'd of done that - the squad we had was far too good for Division One. He also did great at Cov with quite a large budget didnt he?!
Bryn Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Hull is a fcking shithole.Hull is the imbred capital of Britain although plymouth is running it close judging by some dicks on this forum. Right
Tommeh Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Right Oh you disagree.... well fook a duck, what is this world coming to? please expalin your theory, I'll try and agree although it'll be doubtful.

There are no morals left in football anymore, PAFC fans have no right to complain as they stole Sturrock off Swindon, their complaints are so hypocrictical because that is no different to Holloway's move. Not once did Holloway promise to stay therefore people shouldn't hold this against him at all. And let's not start the MA thing, let's agree to disagree, I think he's a good manager and you+ 99% of this forum obviously don't, end of.

No there arent any morals anymore, but i dont think i can think of an instance anywhere, where a manager has fooked off 3 days after saying the club hes at is the best thing since sliced bread. Stop being a blinkered Leicester fan. As for Adams, he aint a bad manager, but he is not the solution to our problems, as is shown by where he is now. And you constantly mentioning him is goin to make you laughing stock (and before you say it, no you didnt mention him in this instance, but you have done in the past).
