Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 I'd say no, and that worries me. If last season was a rollercoaster, then I don't know whats going to happen this season. We're in the shit big time. Is there a case for January being the most important month in the clubs history?? Or will it go down to the wire that ultimately inspired the performances at Barnsley and Preston last season....?? C'mon Ollie!
Brainy Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Well at the end of the season, I think we'll have more points than; Blackpool S****horpe I can see QPR getting out of this. So there's 2. then i notice the second part to the thread title so... Infact, I'll say the two teams poorer than us at the moment are Blackpool and S****horpe.
Father Ted Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 On Current form - NO Quality of team - YES Size of club - YES Are we shit - YES
ronnup Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 there really are more than three worse squads, we're just lacking desire. It's been a topsy turvy season for the boys. They're a great bunch of lads.
Babylon Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Look at the table... currently we are forth from bottom. So the answer is yes.
maddog Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Any one can beat anyone in this league, all the teams are shit in this division and a good 5 premiership teams are shit aswell. We could quite easily be in the top 6 but we are not, we are in the bottom 6. We beat Watford 4-1, we beat Bristol City 2-0, we beat Aston Villa who beat Chelsea, we nearly beat Chelsea ourselves. In football anything can happen. Id say there are a lot of teams who are worser than us in this division but we are just not performing.

I agree but cos we beat one team who beat another team it doesn't mean we are going to beat them.
dandannieldanok Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Look at the table... currently we are forth from bottom. So the answer is yes. Correct but I can see that changing after the Wolves game
maddog Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 I agree but cos we beat one team who beat another team it doesn't mean we are going to beat them. i never said that, i didn't mean to point to that ambituary conclusion there Observe me with my complicated words.
Father Ted Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Correct but I can see that changing after the Wolves game I honestly believe we can get something at Wolves. It will be a close game. It will either be 0-0 or 1-0 to either side. Prepare for Gary Megson style football once again those who are going
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 17 December 2007 Author Posted 17 December 2007 Look at the table... currently we are forth from bottom. So the answer is yes. would you say the same based on the last 6 games??
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 17 December 2007 Author Posted 17 December 2007 On Current form - NOQuality of team - YES Size of club - YES Are we shit - YES hahaha....I agree with you on all counts other than Quality of team
Father Ted Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 hahaha....I agree with you on all counts other than Quality of team Well we have players like Fulop, Kisnorbo, Clemence, John, Hume compared to the likes of Qpr, S****horpe, Blackpool, Bristol City and Preston who don't really have players like that. Although I guess there starting team is consistent whereas ours is half good, half crap (Stearman). And so the clever dumb balance is restored (Mint advert ).
jonw88 Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Yes there are 3 - Watford, West Brom and Charlton. Only joking, there aren't any teams worse than us in the whole of the football league.
Simi Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 There will be by the end of the season I assure you that. Maybe not at the moment though, based on current form, although I wouldn't like to test the water to be honest.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 17 December 2007 Author Posted 17 December 2007 I joked with my Geordie mate that Newcastle is a graveyard for good players..... thank fook he isn't educated in the goings on at our club at the mo! I do agree with Ollie tho that the balance in the squad is shocking (thankyou Mr. Allen). The likes of Kisnorbo, Clemence, N'Gotty, Fulop, Hume, John etc....should not be in a team that is 20/21st or wherever the fook we are. I hope this means when Ollie re-balances the side (a creative mid, couple of tasty wingers etc) and doesn't have to play defenders all over the park we have a team capable of winning the odd game, and get out of this mess

Thracian Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 Not right now there isn't. It's almost as if the team has been flogged by one demon or another. And is now losing the will to survive.
