The Reverend Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 well i blame the players tbh,the buck stops with mm tho and i think he has made the wrong choice in holloway,i havnt ever booed a leicester player and never will however shitthis is ment to be an open forum were lcfc fans can express there opion on the goings on with the team on and off the pitch,just because i have no time for mm or holloway im being slated left right and centre i havnt started a holloway out thread ive just asked the questions a concernd fan would Ok fair enough, but i think its a bit pathetic to be citing Ollie's media friendliness as a reason for our poor performances. He's done it all his managerial career, and has been successful, so to now use it as a reason because his team are'nt doing so well, in my view, is a bit ridiculous. As for stating your opinion, yes, you are, what do you want, everyone to agree with you? Wouldnt be much of a debate then would it?!

Ollie has 24 hours a day to fill and by looking at his eyes I`ll say he sleeps about 4 hours so he has plenty of time to write the odd column or do his "day job" with us. Sometimes though managers cant win. R Kelly was boring, mundane and lifeless, repeating himself at will and now we have a madman who is on the telly all the time some are trying to say he is almost neglecting his work with us!!!

Dr_Fox Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 TBH i was happy when i heard about holloways appointment you cant have ago at holloway it has been proven that the managers that have been at leicester this season cannot do anything with this team. You have got to give holloway time to build his own squad and we needed someone like holloway to give them a good kick up the backside and not let them get away with awful performances like Hull last weekend. They may not have done much but they achieved more with this group of players than Holloway has been able to. I haven't got time to go through all results and work it out but I'm pretty sure that Holloway's points per game average must be the lowest of any management team we've had this season but of course it's not his fault because they're all crap and overpaid and that's the end of it and all will be well in january once Holloway get's some money to spend...or so he would like us to think!

You have seen good and bad times over the last 20 years and can see that Holloway is cluseless and out his depth,these zombies cried when Allen went,they have short teenage memories. To anyone who reads Holloway articles or the OS or bluearmy.co.uk, seriously, don't bother. It's all 100% A+ shit. Avoid, and do something more worthwhile. You may well die this Christmas and those precious minutes spent reading that horseshit would be better spent with your friends and loved ones.

He wasnt sacked, he just wasnt chosen to take the managers seat Allen - Sacked for out of footballing reasons, I suppose i can understand this Megson - Not sacked! Went on to bigger things... no fault of Mandarics and understandable Ollie - Still here... no complaints STOP BLAMING MANDARIC FOR MANAGERIAL DEPARTURES

Leicester City FC media coverage is dominated by the Leicester Mercury and BBC Radio Leicester, and both of those entities are stuck so far up the club's rectum that it's impossible for them to take a peek outside and deliver some objective criticism when it is needed. Milan Mandaric even had the Mercury in his back pocket before he'd even tabled a formal bid to buy the club. Sure, sometimes the "fourth estate" takes its powers a little too far, but the club is going through a prolonged period of atrocious results and nobody in the press has dared held anybody at the club accountable?
