Thracian Posted 24 December 2007 Posted 24 December 2007 I feel reinspired and remotivated. I've never really been the least bit intellectual, I'm more an instinctive person but today I feel full of enthusiasm for new challenges, new areas of learning and experience, trying to be of value. It has been a difficult year - the first of my advancing age when so many close friends waved their earthly farewells. I've felt subdued, frustrated, even to questioning the point of life. But this morning the despondency has gone. I feel invigorated. People can be so special if you give them chance. I'm off out to find a few extras that will hopefully make Christmas as glorious a time as it should be. Then I'm going to church to sing some carols and to celebrate those words of Bill Shankly that I've mentioned before.... "Every day you've got life and breath son, you've got a holiday".

Are you drunk? I tend to feel like that after a few pints.

It has been a difficult year... This applies to me too. Just as well, I'd say, as the challenges never seem to disappear from one's life!
