when_you're_smiling Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Wondered if you guys could help us with a conversation I was having with my mates on the way back from the game this afternoon. When was the last time we scored late on to earn us something, a point or a win, at the Walkers? It takes the mick that on average for every team the greater proportion of goals are scored late on in games but it just dosen't happen for Leicester at the Walkers. I know there was the late (but not late enough ) goal at Palace earlier in the season and Johanson at Preston but when we're talking at home in the league we couldn't think of anything later than Hignet against the Arse. It's a shocking record though to match the overall form down Filbert Way and surely represents the lack of attacking attitude at the Walkers over the years.

We always conceed stupid goals, and alot come in the final minutes... Shame we never score in the final minutes, but when do we score anyway?

I can't remember Bent against Everton off the top of my head at all....and that was what four or five years ago now? I thought we might do it against Cardiff and I was convinced we would do it against West Brom. In the past few weeks all of the teams around us in the table have won games in the last miunte at home. Surely law of averages says we should get one soon.
