ibbosuk Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 For the 1st time it appears that Holloway has ducked out of the obligatory after match interviews. Is he feeling the pressure ? or for once speechless ?
Bert Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 What can he say? Oh yeah, except for the fact that we were absolutly awful.
WetFlannel Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Maybe hes had enough of making the same matchday comments and just wants to get on with his job... or he kept the players inside and gave the the rollocking of their lives

Is he feeling the pressure ? or for once speechless ? id rather he didnt, it annoys me when managers then go onto say 'were going to train hard and focus on next weeks game' !! bollox!! easy way out! but at least holloway will let them know what he thinks!
filbertstreetboy Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 he seems really pleased he has signed hayles, howard is a great signing but not hayles if hayles scores more than 5 goals untill the end of the season i will donate 100 quid to the youth set up :-)
Bert Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 One good thing, is that Ollie is optomistic, and this really isn't his mess.

Dr_Fox Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I've already brought in Steve Howard and Barry Hayles which isn't a bad start is it? I beg to differ there Ollie!

MC Prussian Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I thought Holloway was mad as hell and no longer willing to take it!!!
Rocky Dennis Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Was wishing he was sacked then! Do you think ANOTHER manager sacking will help us?
Daggers Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 "We came a cropper with a couple of mistakes but we must learn and dig deeper." Didn't he say that he learns from defeat during his appointment interview - he should have learned enough to be awarded a degree, a Masters and a ****ing Doctor of Bollocks by now.
Master Fox Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Well it's pretty pointless me coming on this forum because the only word to sum up Leicester and everthing that goes withi it SHIT
LeeCovFox Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Holloway said: "I thought we were poor in the first half and to give away goals from set pieces is inexcusable. "Howard and Hayles are still bedding into the side and it is bound to take time but those are the sort of players I want in my side. "We were better after the break when we tightened up a bit but by then Southampton were two goals ahead and it was always going to be a big task to get that back." Found this on Football 365. Dunno who he was speaking to.
shrood Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Didn't do his BBC Column this week either did he? Maybe his unecessary analogies writer is unholiday
evan Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 people have got to remember its like trying to slow down and turn around a massive big train thats been speeding towards oblivion for the last 4 years....it takes time to apply the brakes and change direction...and unfortunately we're all handcuffed inside (like keanu reeves in Speed)... so, er...yeah he needs a bit of time basically.

Yes completely agree, we won't go down, and yes we do need to still chop and change, but he will get it right. I like the players he has bought in so far.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Yes completely agree, we won't go down, and yes we do need to still chop and change, but he will get it right. I like the players he has bought in so far. True. These pessimistic so called fans need to realise it may take until the end of the season to sort this crop of shite(players) out. Blame Holloway all you like, its the players attitudes that need correcting. Mourinho wouldn't get these players playing. They are very poor with the exception of Hume and a couple others. We won't go down, but with all these negative comments constantly from 'followers' we may buckle. Lets stop MOANING and start SUPPORTING the club!!!!
ronnup Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 Can't blame him. I'm sick of us, he's sick of us. They're a good bunch of lad?
mat_j101 Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 I heard from a freind who is in Southampton at the moment and went to the match that he was so annoyed with the team, he made the go back out onto the pitch shortly after full time, split them into 2 sides and made them play another 20 mins!

Did anyone score?
scottybbmf Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 all he says is that we did really well and worked hard and was impressed with the lads effort. what good is effort with out results he might aswell pick me. i would run my socks off and be just as shit as the t ossers we have playing for us.
mat_j101 Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 neverI'd love this to be true. Did anyone score? Ive no idea. Im not sure if its true either, would be funny if it was tho!!!
Simi Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 I can't understand how he can come to the conclusion that they are putting all their effort in, it simply is not true. Every time we go a goal behind we seem to panic and lose our way and have a mad 10 minutes. During that little spell yesterday we conceded a goal, shocking! From that point it was game over. Whether it be lack of confidence, ability or even knowhow, I can safely say that they are not putting in 100% effort every game. It's an excuse that has no bearing on me, I know effort when I see it and yesterday it wasn't there.
