Matt Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 I was offered Kangaroo the first time I went to Australia, but turned it down, I actually regret turning it down now.
Steven Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 I have had Shark and I am not sure I will do that again. <_<
Matt Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 I have had Shark and I am not sure I will do that again. <_< 77857[/snapback] Come to think of it i've had Shark, its well nice, yeah ok its just like normal fish IMO but i'd happily have it rather than normal Cods, e.t.c I had fish and chips (Also while I was in Oz - the first time) and apparently they don't tend to have your normal cods, e.t.c, so I had 'flake' which is shark. quite nice
Ash Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 I've never tried any different types of meat a part from the norm, But i wouldn't be shy it trying anything new.
Guest Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 I've eaten kangaroo, it's quite nice. My OH has eaten reindeer in Finland, unwittingly eaten whale meat in Japan (he made his views on that clear once he'd found out!), but turned down the octopus tentacle and shark fin soup.

If prepared well, it's oh so delicious. The way my grandmother prepares wild boar stew, it's without a shadow of a doubt my favourite meat.
