The People's Hero Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 I think the solution to this is either a) i) Jason Koumas (permanent signing) ii) Jason Koumas (on loan) b) Moving the kop to the other end of the ground. What do you think, bankers?

Steven Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 First 75bps cut since 1993.And yes the first emergency cut since 2001. I thought the first since 1984.
lookwhaticando Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 BBC says August 1982. Will someone, somewhere, please tell us when the last 75 basis point cut was carried out by the Fed... I don't think I can carry on until I know for sure. In all seriousness, sarcasm aside, it's a big move... a whiff of panic about the whole episode and so on. In a mystic meg sort of fashion (rather than someone whose job it is to think about these kind of things), I quite fancied a 50 basis point cut at the next OMC. Bold.
