Tinman Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 I seriously doubt that we'll go bust in a season! I'm not sure whether that was a joke or whether you were being serious. It isn't them personally who are investing in the club, the investment comes from an outside company who haven't been named yet. Funds have been made available to Paul Jewell, although I presume that he will use most of them up come June / July / August time. They're more of a sports management company than anything with a lot of experience in marketing. You're right that they don't have any ownership pedigree but that's why Adam Pearson is on the board still, along with Peter Gadsby and Don Amott. Hope that clears a few things up. Do you ever post on Popside,Joely?
joely22 Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Do you ever post on Popside,Joely? No mate. Never got used to the layout of that site, everything just seemed to be in one forum, not split up into sections or anything like that. I post on the NEP and SSA. You?

Zingari Posted 29 January 2008 Posted 29 January 2008 will derby now be pronounced as durby ( rhyming with herbie )
Joe. Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 I must be misreading things here. Derby 1 Man City 0. Is this right?
joely22 Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 I must be misreading things here.Derby 1 Man City 0. Is this right? Couldn't believe it myself!! Played really well tonight, with heart and passion. Something like the way we expected them to play for the other games this season. Fought hard, couldn't ask for more to be honest. Fair enough it ended a draw but top marks to the players, they did well. Another 14 wins and we might escape the drop
WetFlannel Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Sun Ji Hai is a ****. Why is he allowed to play football? Hes terrible
Asha Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 Derby 8 points. I've got more points on my driving license.
WetFlannel Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 We would have 3 points out of 2 games for Premiership opposition weve played this season. Nice thought.
joely22 Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Derby 8 points. I've got more points on my driving license. Not really something to brag about is it!!! We would have 3 points out of 2 games for Premiership opposition weve played this season. Nice thought. True, but it doesn't always work like that does it.
Koke Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Derby 8 points. I've got more points on my driving license. Shame on you
Koke Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Danny Mills + Robbie Savage + Hossam Ghaly = C*nts of all c*nts. A dirty bastard, most hated player in EPL and a prima donna.
