I think Hossam Ghaly is a much better player than what Oakley. Yeah, he's only here until the end of the season but am sure PJ will find a good enough replacement for him in the summer And as for MOTD, that's not being watched in my house tonight!

Paul Jewell made those decisions I believe. Either way, neither Davies or Jewell can be blamed for yesterday. It can even be put down to a freak result. You were at your worst, they were at their best. Preston have sonme decent players, but are just having a poor season. The team they have now isn't all that different from the one that wasn't a million miles form being were you are now. Coventry ar rubbish beat beat a good Blackburn side. It happens. Form is terrible, and confidence is about as low as it can get. Don't forget that Davies go you into the Premier League, which means even wth relegation significant financial injections for the next three years in parachute payments. Also, its worth remembering that without the Premiership place that was won for you by Davies, American investors wouldn't have even looked in you direction. Thanks to Davies, and as much as I hate to say it, you future is bright.

I agree with what you say. We were at our worst and they were at their best. We should have beat them, comfortably. We had the players to do so but there really is little confidence. Some of the players just don't care (PJ pretty much said that in his post match interview) and for me, that's the thing that bothers me most. It's those players that will be gone in the summer, I have no doubt about it. The team or squad that we have now will be unrecognisable come the start of August, once again, I have no doubt about that. Dean Sturidge said the other day that Davies has maybe set us back three or four years, I think he's right. Not the best thing to hear. But then you look at this new takeover deal, where cash will be available to Jewell (not that money will be dished out on players for the sake of buying) but there will be a significant ammount which can hopefully get us in the same division as we are in now. I'll be happy for a mid-table finish next season. A few months back I'd have been hoping for an instant promotoion push but looking at how we performed against Shef Wed and Preston yesterday, mid-table finish next season would be ok. The play-offs the following season and then promotion the next. Pretty much the same plan we had in place at the start of last season. It took Reading three years to get where they are now. It took us one. I know which I'd rather choose.

Here are the articles which have angered us fans: It wasn't about the money It should have been PNE Billy would welcome PNE return Why I quit PNE Now, I appreciate that you haven't got time to read through all of the articles but imagine if Holloway got you promoted through the Play-Offs, pretty much the clubs finest hours in the past five or so years (much like our success was last season), then at the end of the Play-Off Final, Holloway makes the whole day about him and not the fact that you've just reached the Premiership by neither confirming or not confirming whether he would stay in charge the following season. Now that, to the even the biggest fans of the manager would be frustrating. Then after being sacked, he goes to the press and states that your finest hour in the past five seasons should have happened to Plymouth? You tell me whether or not you'd lose a lot of respect for him? That's just how it is now. It was always about one man.

Cheers mate but I don't think people understood the full story behind me slagging Billy Davies off. I'm not sure whether Micky Adams did the same as what BD did but I'm pretty sure that if Holloway did the same, there would be pretty much the same reaction to him as there was with the Derby fans towards BD.

Micky Adams didn't get slated because we got relegated. It was to do with the fact were doing very badly well lurking around 13th-15th in the championship, thats when the stick started coming.

(certainly not like Derby anyway) And I don't recall anybody calling for his head while we were in the prem.
