CKB Posted 11 May 2008 Posted 11 May 2008 I watched it, i won't base a full opinion on it till i have watched it till at least 3 shows....BUT! what i will say is what a shit assed arena! is that the best they could do? my garden looks bigger and the whole thing just looked cheap! As for the Gladiators themself? well obviously Oblivion is the new Wolf? and as for Enigma....

Legend_in_blue Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 It was a complete let down. The arena was poor. The commentating was poor. The gladiators are too wooden - posers the lot of them. The whole atmosphere of the show was poor. Needs to improve quick.

isaidno Posted 23 June 2008 Posted 23 June 2008 Did anyone see it yesterday. Both of the women & the men couldn't get up the travelator. They slowed it down and eventually stopped it and they still couldn't get up. One of the blokes crawled up backwards on his backside.

It's clearly steeper than it used to be, hence why it looks a bit slower. That was the first episode and it was way to fast, hence why it had to be turned down.

The Stig Posted 24 August 2008 Author Posted 24 August 2008 Series finished tonight and overall I enjoyed it. I think it needs some more events, an extra one in a show and a couple of new Glad's. People would always say this wasn't as good as the original, but overall Sky have done a good job, and with more series it will only get better. Anyway next week the legends return, which looks brilliant. For the first ever time, the Gladiaotrs will scale the travelator!
