nickthefox Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 I know this is not going to be popular but I think we need to take decisive action. We are already a laughing stock and Holloway and his comedic outpourings are just making this worse. It will be far worse in League One- look at the Trees and Leeds- its not easy getting back up. Since Holloway has taken over its gone from bad to worse and with the transfer window closed it s not going to get any better. With the fixtures coming up we need someone with Championship/prem/internation ability like Glenn Hoddle to sort the players out and get the tactics right. Losing to Blackpool and Plymouth is unacceptable and we have tough games coming up. Please Milan sort this mess out.
Guest Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 And if we sack him, who else is gonna come within a hundred miles of the manager's job at city?
nickthefox Posted 10 February 2008 Author Posted 10 February 2008 I hear Martin Allen is free... No not MAD DOG! He's useless. Surely BIG SAM is up for a challenge....

davieG Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 If you're looking for Milan to solve our problems by appointing a manager all I can muster up is:
Phube Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 No not MAD DOG! He's useless. I remember Watford....
nickthefox Posted 10 February 2008 Author Posted 10 February 2008 Yeah just what we need. Sorry Babylon- what is your recipe for keeping us up. Holloway has had enough time, things aren't gelling and we are 3 points off relegation. With four away games in six we will be in the drop zone and it will be too late. I am really angry at the moment and I place the blame at Milan's and Holloway's door. He has signed dross, his tactics are appalling and things are getting worse. I have a bad feeling about this....

nickthefox Posted 10 February 2008 Author Posted 10 February 2008 If you're looking for Milan to solve our problems by appointing a manager all I can muster up is: Milan is too blame for this as well but he has the ability to hire and fire. He went through several managers at Pompey before getting it right.
WetFlannel Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Chill out! A new manager is not what we need. It will only destroy morale even further, and what other managers can you suggest that are avaliable? Give him time.

Zsolt thanks for giving me more than a one word answer....Big Sam, Hoddle, Chris Coleman, Steve McLaren FFS anyone with some experience of Prem/International football that the players will respect and play proper football for. QPR fans moan to this day that Olly played Hoofball there and he's doing the same to us.
Simi Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 You can't argue with the guy. He's supported us even before we were formed. Remarkable.
skinnydipper Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Yeah let's get the Krankies in as if we followed your bird brained suggestion we'd be even more of a laughing stock

morris1234 Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 excuse me ........ *clears throat* WILL YOU JUST SHUT THE F**K UP, WHAT GOOD WILL IT DO, IF WE COULD HAVE GOT SOME WORLD CLASS MANAGER TO GET US PROMOTED DONT YOU THINK WE WOULD ALREADY HAVE HIM! DUUUUUUUUUUH JUST GET RID OF HIM DEN WE CAN SPEND 50MILL ON PLAYERS...EASY HUHUHUHUH AND THEN GET PROMOTED!! SHUT UP, ITS GOING TO TAKE TIME, I WOULDNT BANK ON US GETTING NEAR THE PLAYOFFS NEXT YEAR EITHER! JUST GROW UP AND LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT FOOTBALL! YES THAT WASNT FOOTBALL YESTERDAY AND YES MOST OF IT WAS HOLLOWAYS TEAM BUT WE DONT DESERVE TO BE IN THE PREMIERSHIP, W EHAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY.......WE HAVE THE STADIUM AND THE MONEY SO WE NEED TO GO UP.........YOU NEED TO GROW UP!!! WHO CARES THAT COMES WITH IT, LOOK AT TEAMS LIKE STOKE, THEY WERENT GREAT AND HAVENT BEEN FOR A FEW YEARS BUT THE LAST 2 SEASONS THEY HAVE GOT USED TO THE STYLE OF PLAY AND EACHOTHER AND THEY ARE A MACHINE NOW! soory for capitals but anybody agree or want to add to that, everyones entitled for their opinion but come off it!
nickthefox Posted 10 February 2008 Author Posted 10 February 2008 That was just a sardonic reply to suggest I had supported the Foxes for time imemorium, or it feels that way atm. since 1962 is the real answer.

davieG Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Milan is too blame for this as well but he has the ability to hire and fire. He went through several managers at Pompey before getting it right. Accept the fact that Milan knows as much about appointing managers as I know about what makes up the planet Mars - he's been lucky twice appointing Redknap and re-appointing Redknap to believe that changing managers to another of his choice selections will solve our problems is naive and means relying totally on luck.

If you think another change of manager is what we need then god help us.
WetFlannel Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Zsolt thanks for giving me more than a one word answer....Big Sam, Hoddle, Chris Coleman, Steve McLaren FFS anyone with some experience of Prem/International football that the players will respect and play proper football for.QPR fans moan to this day that Olly played Hoofball there and he's doing the same to us. Coleman is a good shout, but we've been through enough managers to know that they will have to be given more time and more money to acqurie their own team. Is giving Ollie 5 games with his team fair? Won 2 Drawn 1 Lost 2... Its hardly terrible. Its something to build on, and something to push on with. This season has been very very difficult, but sacking another manager will only put us in a more difficult situation.

You really think after all the instability this club has gone through in the past year, the answer is to sack the manager...... AGAIN! Total rubbish. You dont know what youre talking about!
