purpleronnie Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Not a fan, very obvious jokes you can tell what the punchline will be half the time. Although I did see a joke before he started his stand up routine I did find funny. Q.Whats worse than biting into an apple and finding a worm? A.Being raped. Well I found it funny, like everyone who laughed we knew we shouldn't have.
Nick Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Anybody else off to this tonight at DMH? Saw him here a couple of years ago, he was great - better than Jack Dee in fact.
Rincewind Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Got his DVD for Xmas and wanted to go and see him but it was fully booked. The DVD is V good.

Rincewind Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I thought the answer was 'finding half a worm.'

skinnydipper Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Saw him in Northampton last May. Brilliant. He was particularly good with the audience interaction and putting down any hecklers. Some of his subject matter is a little sick but you can't stop yourself from laughing even if you're not sure you should be
Nath Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I went to the one last week. Funny, but tended to drag on a bit. 2 hours... people get restless. 20 min break... 21 of those minutes you are queing for a piss... no time for a drink.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I don't mind Jimmy Carr but all of his routines seem a bit samey to me. I saw Michael McIntyre the other night though, I nearly creamed myself with laughter.
Guest Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Am I the only person who finds this bloke totally unfunny? Is there nobody else out there who would also like to get one of those demolition balls and introduce it to his face?
2bob! Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I got Lee Evans tickets also. Good times, but £33! Pffft! I cant believe your moaning at £33 squid, He will be worth it i have seen him b4 at dmh front row seat and he was truly amazing squire. Where are you going to see him???????????? lff
WetFlannel Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Am I the only person who finds this bloke totally unfunny? Is there nobody else out there who would also like to get one of those demolition balls and introduce it to his face? I don't find him funny. However, I think I'm the only person not too rate Lee Evans. I think hes shockingly over-rated, and I havent laughed at anthing hes offered.

WetFlannel Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Sounds like it pal But you must like some form of comedy mate? and its not just Lee Evans is over rated its all comedians? MikeyT Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Cant believe you dont rate Lee Evans pal Who do you like Peter Kay, Russell Brand??????????? I hate Lee Evans i think he's utter crap! Hes not funny at all. Jimmy Carr is fooking hilarious. But Billy Connolly is the king for me...no one comes close to him!!
Durnerz Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I'm off to Lee Evans on the 6th of September in Nottingham, his last show on the XL tour there was one of the best gigs i've ever been to, such great value for money. May see a few of you there by the sounds of it.
Geo V Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Weird looking fudger but funny which is the most important thing
