I'm off to Lee Evans on the 6th of September in Nottingham, his last show on the XL tour there was one of the best gigs i've ever been to, such great value for money. May see a few of you there by the sounds of it.

You wont see me as i'm going to the one on the 4th but i have seen him before and he is amazing! Does anyone know if Alan Carr will be touring as he is funny as

I did find Russel Brand very funny in big fat quiz of the year (the one before the latest one as i missed it) but Im just not a fan of stand up. I find it a bit obvious...

I'm completely the opposite, I can't get enough of it. :)

Am I the only person who finds this bloke totally unfunny? Is there nobody else out there who would also like to get one of those demolition balls and introduce it to his face?

:dunno:

I don't find him funny. However, I think I'm the only person not too rate Lee Evans. I think hes shockingly over-rated, and I havent laughed at anthing hes offered.

I'm with ye sonny-jim-me-lad.

Ah, beautiful.

I agree with all of you.

Im not a big fan of stand up comedy in general really. I havent really seen anyone special. Maybe I'm just a moody bastard. :D

Me neither. I prefer to sit down.

Come on, someone had to do it.

Lee Evans is ok but any one can get his jokes even .... Ricky Gervias is by far in my opinion the best comedian around.

Worst Comedian around is either Lenny Henry or Peter Kay.

Best Stand up at the moment has to be Chris Rock very very funny guy

Worst is Jethro

I agree with that my brother in law loves jethro but I just dont get it...all about shagging farm animals, maybe that was funny when I was 12.

Chris rock is very good.

I was lucky enough to see Bill Hicks in the early 90's, a genius, and to me still the most important stand up comedian.

i went last night and can honestly say the show was great , first half better than the second half but that was probaly because i spent most of it sitting there needing a piss which got to the point where it was painfull. best comedy show ive been to and best piss ive ever had.

he did pick on one woman who admitted she liked anal , to be honest he tryed to get the audience to heckle him but nobody did apart from the odd couple of times. there was also a couple who had just got married that day in the audience which he thought was pretty weird that there spending there wedding night at his show , which is pretty weird to me aswell.

Your not the only one, Lee Evans does nothing for me to be honest. Jimmy Carr is okay I think, but I'm not sure I would pay to see him. Every comedian to me pales in comparison to the legend that is Billy Connolly.

Yes.

Yes.

A thousand times yes.

Now it's time to be jealous.

You bastard.
