Fryatt - Foxes fans give me a massive boost

Fryatt is a very clever, nifty little striker who likes to link the play up but can also run onto flick on's. His only problems is his pace. If he had pace, he would score more goals and would be in the Premiership, nevermind starting every week for us. I'm afraid nowadays, everybody needs pace apart from the likes of Sheringham who in fact reminds a bit like Fryatt. I thinks it's time he should be given a go ahead of Campbell and if left on the bench should always come on ahead of Hayles.

You just likened Fryatt to Teddy Sheringham?

I can only remember one time where Fryatt has been one on one with the keeper this season and that was at S****horpe and he missed. He may have more skill than Campbell but you will hardly ever find Fryatt in the same positions that Campbell finds himself in.

Oh that`s alright then, it`s reassuring to know that we`ve got "DUD" there to MISS all the chances !

The Foxes WILL survive this season

It's good that of the last four games three are against sides around us, so we have our destiny in our own hands. There's a big bunch of teams at the bottom and if we can go two games on the spin without losing I think we can steer ourselves out of trouble.

I really believe we will survive. All the players think we'll get out of it because we know we have been improving. We can feel it off the pitch and we see it on the pitch. We are slowly getting better.

We play Colchester next and that is obviously as near to a must-win game as they get. It's similar to the S****horpe game that we won 1-0 and we have to show the same sort of character and put in the same level of performance as we did that day.

We know that at this stage of the season results are everything. It doesn't have to be pretty, but it has to be effective.

I believe we will stay up and then next year we'll look to push on. But we know there is a lot of hard work ahead, because Leicester have been in this sort of position for the last four years. You have to put it in perspective and realise you can't just click your fingers and expect to be in the top two. We want to get the job done this season and then plan for the future of Leicester City Football Club.

I'm not trudging through this entire thread in order to find out whether anyone has already said that giving Fryatt a massive Boost is wholly irresponsible, what with his weight and everything. Some fans need to have a word with themselves - they are probably to blame for our season.

But I guess because he has no pace then he is just not good enough.

I kinda get what you mean here, dunno if i would compare him to Sheringham now as Teddy knew how to score!

Fryatt is very good on the ball, can beat a man and is clever at times..BUT the problem is? he can't score! and as a striker that's gonna get you no where!
