OriginalRobboFOX Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 County Zen is looking a beaut of a horse for tomorrow. What race is this in Ric??
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Gonna be lumping some dosh on Silverburn today in the 13.05, 13/2 the last time I checked...
Ric Flair Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 What race is this in Ric?? It's running tomorrow in the Coral Cup. Get on it.
The People's Hero Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 My picks so far have been My Way De Solzen, Fair Along, Mr Strachan and Silverburn. Templeton agrees with 3 of them too. Should be an interesting day. Tempted by Idle Talk, too.

Ric Flair Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 My picks are: 12.30 - Beantown 1.05 - Albertas Run 1.40 - Arturio 2.20 - Tamarinbleu 2.55 - L'Antartique 3.30 - Inglis Drever 4.05 - Don't Push It 4.40 - Robin Du Bois 5.15 - Idle Talk 5.50 - Apt Approach Not backed them all yet, going to see how I get on in the first few.
The People's Hero Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 I can't choose in the 5.50 between Apt Approach and t'other favourite who's name I forget. Don't Push It looks good Ric.... but there again, depends what odds you can get I suppose. I'm not backing a lot. Just two horses at small stakes, I'm not going to confirm which on here as it'll jinx them!
filbertway Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Just thought I'd share some information I got in an E mail, I'm not saying the tipster is accurate, I'm jsut adding to the thread, follow at your risk... 2:20 - Voy Por Ustedes 2:55 - Turko E/W 3:30 - Inglis Drever
Ric Flair Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Just whacked ten notes on Oscar Park in the 1.05, even though I have Albertas Run as well for this. Either one will do for me.
The People's Hero Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Can someone post results in this thread? I'm a lazy, lazy man.

Ric Flair Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Alberta's Run is an absolute diamond of a horse, i'd even say it's my favourite horse in the past few years. I have backed it about 8 times now and it's won in at least 6 of them.Up against Air Force One on Saturday, I knew it would beat it. But the bookies didn't think so and had Alberta's at 9/2, it was too good to turn down, I just wish i'd risked more money on it. £20 e/w It's up against Air Force One at Cheltenham next month, it's going to be interesting to see who is down as favourite now after Alberta's blazing win. Whatever the bookies have it down as, i'm going all in on Alberta's Run. Double it up with Kauto Star, Denman hasn't got a chance IMO. Might stick my winnings on it right now. Did anyone follow my advice that I gave last month? Albertas Run has won me more money than any other horse ever has. Can I say, that if I was in the pub right now i'd buy every single one of you fellow betters a beer. I am seriously well off today my friends. Albertas Run, I salute you, you are my hero. I am considering risking my job and going and necking a pint of wine in a minute.

Ric Flair Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 How much you put on it mate? I stuck £100 that I took from it's last victory last month, I also got odds of 6/1, so let's say i'm drunk on life right now. That is the most i've ever bet on a horse I believe and i'd never condone myself betting that sort of amount again, but I absolutely adore this horse. Plus it was free money really after the win last month. I can't quite believe it though, shall I stick the lot on Kauto?

Keep £400 of it and use the other £200 over next few days I say. Ive just had an each way treble on the Next 3 races hhhmmm. We'll see.
