Zingari Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 THE GUARD AND THE HERO ( a poem dedicated to Nightguard and TPH by Zingari aged 7 ) When moon takes its majesty and sun loses its charm Thank heavens for the "Nightguard" to keep us from harm The sun 'ere returns as night becomes day We welcome the "Hero" to show us the way In shakespeare's proud tongue the warriors fight To lift up our spirits through dark and into light With wise words and humour from babels rich cup But just for a short while PLEASE SHUT THE **** UP  :P just joking lads
Daggers Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 ...and there was me thinking this was going to be Gabriel Garcia Marquez related.

lildave3 Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 She always spoke highly of you. Oh no she didn't. She had a go at my parents because every story I did in school contained football. Even though they were the best pieces of work in the class. Jeez how i've slipped.

Rincewind Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 It's a bit difficult to incorporate football into a story if you are asked to set the story in medieval times or the wild jungles of Borneo.
coale39 Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 It's a bit difficult to incorporate football into a story if you are asked to set the story in medieval times or the wild jungles of Borneo. Wasnt that where football was invented? And wasnt football used to solve differences between tribes?
Rincewind Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 I see you researched it well then. Did you point this out to the teacher?
