Darkzzz_ Posted 28 June 2009 Posted 28 June 2009 All the best to Pat.All the best to your dad too Babylon - it can be beaten. Damn, those images are shocking. He sure is battling away. Awful disease which claimed my dad's life in 2001.I wish your dad all the best Babylon.
CKB Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 He's died... Yeah i just heard, he battled on and stuck a middle finger up to cancer but that evil illness got him in the end. He defied many odds though and lived longer than he was told, very sad R.I.P
MC Prussian Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 As much as I hate people dying of cancer, I'm fearing for the worst with trillions of Swayze tributes to be shown on TV yet. Eek. He will be my hero for "North & South". R.I.P., you dirty dancer.
lou Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Cancer is a fcuking bastard disease. This! RIP Patrick
Guest Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Not a fan of his work, but I admired the way he battled this disease. RIP.
Dr The Singh Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Not a fan of his work, but I admired the way he battled this disease. RIP. Roadhouse was a class movie, I watched one of his interviews, I was amaxed how open he was about his cancer.........RIP!!
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Ah fook. Another victim. A courageous battle by Swayze.
Libertine Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Obviously he'll be remembered for Ghost, Dirty Dancing etc. But he gave a damn good performance as Jim Cunningham in Donnie Darko. Still cracks me up to this day.

Libertine Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 "Is that all the gusta you can musta? I said good morning!"
LCFC-ARAB Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 I hate how i find out when a famous person dies through peoples's statuses on facebook
Thracian Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Sadly, inevitable and at least he'll have no more suffering. Cancer is the sort of obscenity that would make almost anyone question the concept of "God". And every single day it states the case for dignified dying in great big capital letters. Doubtless my wife will have Ghost on a few more times as a means of remembering him at his best instead of the vulnerable and eventually helpless human being that is the fate of so many in the end.
Fox You Forest Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Roadhouse was a class movie You can be my Saturday night thing!
MikeyT Posted 15 September 2009 Author Posted 15 September 2009 Very sad news. Think we all knew it was coming but still remains a sad shock when it finally does happen. You were a legend Mr. Swayze and fought a couragous battle till the end. Roadhouse, Point Break, Ghost and Dirty Dancing, were some faves af mine. R.I.P.
Guest Bilo Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Can only echo what has already been said by saying the man fought with great courage against what is an utter twat of a disease. RIP.
