AyewJoking Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Away? Anything from that game would be a good result.
Joe. Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Can't say I envy anybody going to this Fair play to you though...
Tilley Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Can't say I envy anybody going to this Fair play to you though... Is this Joe NOT going to an away game??
lildave3 Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Can't say I envy anybody going to this Fair play to you though... I can. Grrrr. <_<
Staf Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Defeat but there will be positives to take from the game although we will go into the relegation zone.
Mort Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 A win at St.Mary's?... cant say I'm filled with optimism
Thracian Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 We won at Cardiff and my middle son, a Southampton fan, reckons his team are in freefall and have never been more vulnerable. It won't be easy but I'm not feeling in any way defeatist.

AyewJoking Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Anything can happen but that logic is always better when you dont expect to win
Thracian Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Why is your son a Saints fan Thracian? Did you not make sure he was LCFC fan by brain washing him at an early age? Only one of my three sons is a City fan. They've always had their own minds.
Stevosevic Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Only one of my three sons is a City fan. They've always had their own minds. You did a bad job

davieG Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Only one of my three sons is a City fan. They've always had their own minds. You did a bad job My 2 sons and daughter are LCFC fans - mind you I'm awaiting an arrest for childhood cruelty
davieG Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Don't you mean a Colchester, Sheff Utd & Wolves win oh and a Leicester one Not fussed about Cov/Sheff - a draw would suffice, Preston well that goes without saying. It's just that a Colchester win would be the best result out of all of them.
Saint G Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Hey guys, saints fan here. I guess we're both in exactly the same boat really, 42 points, 37 games played and finding it hard to get decent results. Tuesday is obviously a must win, but our track record of home midweek games this season is bad. 5 Games, 1 goal scored, 3 draws and 2 defeats. Since the appointment of nigel pearson the boys seem to have confidence back in them and are playing much better. We are yet to lose under him and also yet to win, 4 draws so far. You guys seem to be playing well also and were unlucky against bristol city today. Should be a good atmosphere on tuesday and a cracking game if both teams come out and perform. I won't say good luck because I don't mean it Come on you Saints!

If we play like we did today we could give you problems. Hopefully anyway!

If we play like we did today we could give you problems. Hopefully anyway! Oh yes, definatly thinking about relegation now that we are only 3 points away. Been a pretty bad day for us, losing points in the relegation battle and pompey now favourites to win the fa cup I suppose you did bring quite a few for the cup game in january, but to be honest I thought you were awful then. I am expecting a much tougher game on tuesday. I doubt either team will be going for the draw which could well mean the relegation zone for one of us by the end of the night.

Ah the small contingent on Leicester fans should be up for it and hopefully so are our players because were are looking over our shoulders big time We NEED the points really bad and a Sheff Wed loss! Oh & by the way i hope Pompey win the FA Cup! 28/1 when i put a tenner on in Jan

The cheap tickets may be the reason for that. And yeah we were awful in Jan, aswell as last season at your place.

Yea true, and I think I am right in saying you have never won at st. mary's. Which hopefully is a good sign! But I will be very annoyed if it is another draw.
