Nod.E Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere already. Apologies in advance. But their fans are truely inspirational. A non-league side, with a home crowd of about 6,000. They manage to make a much better atmosphere than our 20k+ crowd's! I really wish we could be like them. Although to be honest, I can never see it happening. Not if the Flask Brigade have anything to do with it! But basically, this is a call to all you true fans out there, let's get behind the lads (They fooking need it) Here are some video's... The day Leicester are as loud as this, is the day I die. To those who want it, try your best to make it happen. Okay, so there are politics involved as to why they're singing some of their songs, but still, the volume is still to be admired. And we should try to emulate this. It can only benifit the team, in a time of desperate need. Your views?...
Nod.E Posted 25 March 2008 Author Posted 25 March 2008 Not in here. Meh... a call for good atmosphere. Leicester related IMO.
Flynny Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Vaguely. Fortuitously enough, though, you happen to have posted it on a Leiceser City website, so you should be fine.

Unit Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 The one with the police in is brilliant. and the first one, impressive.
Tevez Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 So then Tommeh, when we driving up to pay these boys a visit?
Floating Fox Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 I love Fcum but an average of 6000 fans is nearly 3 times their true average pal!
Nod.E Posted 25 March 2008 Author Posted 25 March 2008 I love Fcum but an average of 6000 fans is nearly 3 times their true average pal! Educated guess.
SamL Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Can't wait to go & see 'em. I love the Glazer one. I've been following these for a while now, they really have got great support. FAO Ian Noddoway, their attendance is closer to 2000 My faviourite FCUM video is probably
Tevez Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 On the subject of Rebel Clubs, I got an AFC Wimbledon shirt today Free of charge.

SamL Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Yet another good season for FC United as they finished 2nd in their league meaning they've booked themselves a play off semi final date with Bamber Bridge. The match takes place on Wednesday 30th April, 7.45 kick off. Wish I could go.

Hopefully they carry on their march in the non league
purpleronnie Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I fear for FC in the Play offs the fact the teams who finish so close to automatic promotion usually fail and some team finishing way back just sneaking in to the play offs wins it.
lildave3 Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 So this is why Andy wants to go to Bury on Wednesday.
SamL Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 So this is why Andy wants to go to Bury on Wednesday. I don't blame him. I'd love to go as well but I can't.

SamL Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 Won 3-2 I believe! Indeed. That means they're through to the play off final, I think? Glory glory FC United.
lildave3 Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 Indeed. That means they're through to the play off final, I think? Glory glory FC United. Just the one leg?

Just saves me money.. and keeps me warm at half-time.... Whilst the 'real' fans leave early to get their beer!!
Floating Fox Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 Just the one leg? Yeah their play-offs are a bit harsh...but make sense. The highest placed teams play at home and then the final is held at the highest placed club left in the final. If you get me.

If you get me. Aye, that sounds about right. The play off final will be played at Gigg Lane vs Skelmersdale United, Saturday May 3rd. Should be a great occasion, shame I can't go. Hope they win though.
