I find this hard to believe because their is no link, and also no quote. Your thoughts?

Ollie is in talks with all these players

Henrique Hilario - Chelsea - Gk

Paul Anderson - Liverpool - Mid

David Healy - Fulham - Str

Chris Commons - Nottm Forest - Mid

Arjan De Zeew - Coventry - Def

Marlon Harewood - A.Villa - Str

Isiah Osbourne - A.Villa - Mid

I find that very hard to believe to be honest.

Harewood seems to be playing his fair share at Villa, albeit off the bench, but still he seems a bit too 'high profile' to come to a side that is in a relegation dogfight.

Well we've been linked with Osbourne and De Zeeuw before so no surprise there really. Also, it would help if they could spell Kris Commons name right.

Harewood would be quality in this division, never going to happen though. :(

I'll clarify that, there is no link from that poster, proving this.

We have the squad to stay up. He should be changing the mentality of his current players not bringing in yet more new ones.

I agree with you Mate.

It seems like the attitude of our club at the minute is if someone is not playing particularly well, then rather giving them a good kicking up the backside, we seem to just bring in new players and it goes on over and over again. Ollie needs to motivate the current bunch of players and get them playing with a bit of passion rather then just bringing in new ones everytime something goes wrong.

Paul Anderson is class and is a Leicester lad himself, can't believe we missed out on that one.

:frusty: Wasn't aware of that.

Kristian Commons would be a decent signing...but hasn't been consistant at Forest.

Henrique Hilario - Chelsea - Gk agreed not worth it.

Paul Anderson - Liverpool - Mid interesting but isn't he currently on a season long loan at swansea who look likely to come up.

David Healy - Fulham - Str doubtful.

Chris Commons - Nottm Forest - Mid Not unti next season and only then if we are in this league and forest not

Arjan De Zeew - Coventry - Def no way. released by cov apparently so why would we want him?

Marlon Harewood - A.Villa - Str

Isiah Osbourne - A.Villa - Mid Villa will not loan out any players and neither of these would be likely to sign permanently for us

I went to primary school with Paul Anderson and yep he's a local Leicester lad, he's currently on loan at swansea but been injured for a while. He's a great prospect in my eyes and has done well for Liverpool's youth teams and made the bench for the full team a couple of times last year. Think he's on loan for the whole season at swansea so prob wont be till next season. He's a right winger so just what we need really.

But if Swansea are promoted (as seems probable), he may decide he wants to stay there on a permanent basis.

I find them all quite probable. Hopefully not De Zeeuw. :(

And if we were to sign Healy and Harewood along with Howard upfront. Promotion surely next year if we stay up. :dunno:

What's Holloway going to do when the loan window closes.

He can't panic buy then.

Get in player on loan - 1 / 2 decent games - then distinctly average - panic and get more loanees in.

What will fill the back pages of the Mercury??

How about this one Harewood + Osbourne + £750,000 and Villa can take Mattock, not that I want Mattock to go but sound bit of buisness.

Won't Happen I know.
